So his crappy UFC card has turned into Boxing vs MMA? This guy's an idiot if he thinks this fight is proving anything! It's not Boxing vs. MMA. This isn't even the main event. (It's Edgar/Penn2 BTW) It's giving Toney the opportunity to put money where his mouth is. He thinks he can hang? Let him prove it. I think Toney should just come out swingin and never give Couture a chance to get started. The longer the fight goes the less chance Toney has so he needs to try to KO him quick. toney needs to work the most on checking kicks...couture doesnt throw many but against a boxer he my just employ the basic kick the leg off strategy. couture wont try to jump in and take down immediately, for fear of getting caught. chuck put him out with a shot so toney can as well. as long as toney can check the kicks and counter with a punch i say he has a more than great chance of beating an aging mma legend randy couture. :spankme: no mmGAYer is a legend. I dont think so. He needs to wait for Couture to come running into a punch. If Toney goes chasing or swinging he's moving into takedown territory especially if he misses with one of those punches. Best to counter what ever move Couture decides to make IMO. First takedown Couture goes for he'll probably get I wouldn't give him the chance.

Dana's bashing James Toney in this BRAND NEW interview even though he's on the UFC 118 card!!! Fast forward to 6:11 ps: Dana White is unbelievable... I can't even believe he's this cruel... Thats hardly cruel, especially considering the shit Toney's said. Hes called Dana a hoe and a bitch which is way worse than anything Dana said.

Dana made the fight to try and make boxing look bad but at the end of the day boxing will always be a bigger sport. There's just much more demand for guys like Floyd Mayweather. When has UFC ever had someone like Mayweather who was that popular? Never. UFC have done a very good job with their product though, But I dont think Dana has made the right decisions to make their product evolve. He say's Fedor was overrated or whatever but he went for years without losing and was ranked in the top 5, Dana should have got him. But he pays most of his guy's peanuts, So I dont blame Fedor for not doing what he wanted.

Dana says he even thinks James Toney is going to get his ass kicked with a double leg takedown, but is going to pay him stupid money in the process. :boxing: Which is exactly what Toney wants. If he thinks he can beat the best in the UFC, let him prove it. White's giving him the opportunity and putting him in a high profile fight in his very 1st appearance in the UFC. That's a bigger entrance into the UFC than Lesnar had fighting Frank Mir. It's up to Toney to prove the skeptics wrong now.

There sleepin on James now, if he lands anything clean the fights over. randy is old himself and while his mma backround helps him here alot he's in there with anothe calibur of dangerous in James Toney, if Toney can get off anything i expect him to win.
