Saw a Marquez-Diaz II preview before the movie Twilight last night at the theater

I went to the midnight showing last night with my girlfriend and little sister and I just wanted to say how happy it made me to see a boxing commercial before the movie started. It was cool because before that I was thinking how cool would it be if a boxing preview came on, then a few minutes later a preview comes on with one of my favorite boxers. The theater was packed at the time but remembering the type of majority of people that were in there....it came on during the wrong movie lol. was it that trailer?

Does that mean you think boxing will be done in 20 years? That's what you're implying in America. Almost everyone on here is in their 20's, and it only takes one fight to get some young people interested.

Need to do this in rambo like movies. But I went last night too with my boys and our girls. and saw the same thing. And for UFC too

It may have just been a deal with the movie theaters also to help promote the fight, and have nothing to do with Twilight. Movie ads are much more cost effective than TV spots and GBP does a good job doing that with Floyd fights so it makes sence taht they would use that to help out a fight that needs all the promotion it can get (for as little money as possible).

teenage boys in this day and age aren't into boxing either. They will never be in the future if you don't try to gain them either~ any guy that goes to see twilight needs to view some boxing jsut to get their man card back~

that's a failure in marketing. Well there are latino teens also, and who knows how many dudes get dragged to that bullshit. I would be thinking about that fight the whole movie if I got forced into going. There is not denying how big that movie is amongst teenage girls though, and where is a good place to look for teenage guys where the teenage girls are.
