I say the man who goes out his career undefeated and untested or at least never been pushed to the very edge in a fight loses more. Then again if you're pro-Floyd legacy comes second to $$$
It's obvious it will be floyd who will hurt his legacy more. Floyd was universally recognized by the people as the ducker and he could redeem himself by fighting pac.
Hearns also accused SRL of steroids. Doesn't hold any waters today. I also dont think PBF will be judged as a ducker. They will be judged by their accomplishments, which i think will have a more negative effect on PBF. Pacman doesnt belong at 147. His legacy was built on beating the 3 best mexicans. Whatever he did 140 onwards are more on icing on the cake. Those are Fantasy fights made reality which Pac is the underdog.
if PBF wins against pac, doesnt really tarnish Pacs resume.
Floyd Jr will be hurting more...
Pacman has already solidify his stature by winning the BWAA fighter of the decade award; and 3 times Fighter of the Year without fighting Floyd Jr.
Floyd Jr should show respect to fight fans, for without them, he will never get rich...
Floyd will be remembered for ducking great fighters in their prime.
Pac will be remembered for being so good, people thought he was on steroids.
I voted Floyd.
Floyd wouldn't care though.
He doesn't fight for his fans or his legacy.
Floyd. The general public are now fully aware that his 2 months OST is useless and should be done all year round to catch any PED users. His OST against Shane did not proved anything that they are clean. Now we all know about these road blocks he put leading to this fight. Road block A - OST Pac currently agreed to this useless OST so Floyd proceeded to his road block B which is the 60-40 money split. If this also failed I can see him pulling his ultimate road block....retire again for about 1-2 years.

To all you idiots that think Floyd only fights for money......how does it feel being mind-raped by the man you love to hate?
Let's just say, by years end, Pac's fans will be accusing Floyd of using PEDs.
haha. Ypu guys make me laugh. When OST is the norm for championship fights in 5-10 years how will it make Pac look in the "long run"??
^^^^^^^^^^^^^:haha: Nostradumbass predicting OST as a norm for championship fights. :lol1:
Floyd's legacy...???
ohh ok, as the undisputed ducker of all time. :lol1:
Both right now are considered atg's even thought Pac's been ko'd twice, outboxed and drew with twice-kidding. Pac can become a legend if he beats Floyd. Floyd's resume just gets better. It won't be an upset if Floyd beats PAc. It will be an upset if PAc beats Floyd.
The "idiot pactards" who actually get paid to write about boxing and have expertise and experience far beyond any NSB poster's, otherwise known as the BWAA, have already placed Manny alongside ATGs like Louis, SRR, Ali, Duran, and SRL (Bwaa FoTD, if you're still lost.).
And it wasn't even close. Other idiots like Larry Merchant and Bert Sugar, and bloggers/journalists like RingTV's Doug Fisher or ESPN's Dan Rafael (two other suckers who get paid handsomely for their respected boxing opinions) have Manny as an ATG hall of famer and Floyd as a ducker.
Gee. I wonder who's legacy is yet to be determined.
why is there no "it hurts both" option?
their will be a cloud looming over both of their careers in the boxing history books if this fight does not go down.
if this fight doesn't happen - its completely terrible for the sport. both of them are complete idiots if they let something stupid like a drug testing cut off date prevent the biggest fight of all time from happening. one of them needs to budge on what ever it is holding things up. i don't care who, but one of them needs to, not only for the sport, but so there can be room on NSB for OTHER boxing talk.
let us put it this way:
among boxing fans, there would have a equal belief who has a tainted legacy. however among casual fans, who i think have the majority in numbers, will believe that floyd has the tainted legacy.
why?
casual fans dont really question people like merchant, rafael, holyfield, roy jones. and many more who talk more in favor of pac.QUOTE]
in Asia and Philippines maybe, but everyone underestimates Floyd's "TRUE" popularity in the USA. The PPV numbers tell us he is more popular than PAC....he has more fans.......i don't believe nonsense like half buy to see him lose..........why do they keep buying, in their mind Floyd's opponents are cherry picked, yet he is averaging a million in his last 5 or so PPV's.
Floyd's dominance has been challenged only once and he gave an immediete rematch. Pac still has unfinished business with JMM.
Both get deprived of a big scalp on their wall that would elevate them a little higher. But honestly, Floyd's garnered a bad rep while he's been in the spotlight the last few years. Pac's increased his.
Agreed, when people realize that the whole OSDT Floyd has been campaigning on was a front it will backfire on him in the long run.
