canela could barely fight against lighweights moved up to welterweights cuz he has been fightign light weight.canelo has no machismo what so ever chavez showed his toughness he likes war and asks for shots.canela struggles with light weight moved up to 17-,150 imagien fighting at 154. jose cotto was knocking guys out at 140 and was a lot more active than chavez was tonight chavez doesnt go to war he just doesnt have the stamina to keep moving, seriously did u guys not notice he only circled duddy in the first round and fought him flatfooted for 11 rounds after that? chavez doesnt throw a lot either, in round 7 he barely threw anything, he just landed the shots he did throw

But as for technique, what I saw in the first three rounds of this fight was very impressive and come on, when has anyone had a better technique than Freddie Roach? But power? Hell no. It took Canelo 11 rounds to get a Lightweight who moved up to 149 out of there. And I question his chin after seeing him get rocked very badly by someone who moved up 14lbs. panda was actually impressed by chavez in rounds 3-6 when, rounds 1 and 2 he didnt look so good its not the trainer who gets into the ring, chavez jr having started boxing so late is a pretty limited guy, just because duddy didnt move him whenever he hit him doesnt mean someone with the power of canelo wouldnt either ure basing ur prediction on one fight not to mention jose cotto has a lot more worldclass experience than canelo had

Please........ JCC just made me a fan but Canelo fucks him up. Picture Chavez Jr in round 1 of Canelo-Cotto. Do you think he would have made it to the two min mark? Yes Canelo has the speed and stamina advantage, but Chavez has the power, movement and game plan advantage. He's certainly not outboxing him on the outside because of that quick jab, and do you really think he could win on the inside after tonight? I really question Canelo's chin after seeing him get badly rocked by someone who moved up 14lbs. And the funny thing is, Roach did all of this in 5 weeks. Imagine what he'll do within a few years.

It'd be a war that's for sure, I'd say both are around the same level at the moment. Neither have really been pushed to the limits but maybe they can bring that out in each other if they meet.
