Why i believe 50-50 is a fair deal for THE FIGHT

Why on earth would floyd jr. demand 50-50 on oscar? It was clear that Oscar held all the cards and he was the cash cow at that time, and NOT mayweather jr. Did Floyd jr. have a million ppv fight prior to his fight with Oscar? Did floyd jr have world-wide recognition prior to his fight with Oscar? I'm sorry, but your comparison totally missed the mark. no it didnt oscar couldnt have made that money with anyone else which is your argument.

To be honest we shouldn't be making threads about who deserves what, both fighters knows what they deserve and am sure they both realise that fighting each other represents their biggest payday so they would both work something out. I DO hope that they are working something out. You could look at the threads as some fan's way of blowing off some steam while waiting for the fight to happen. I really don't see anything wrong with making these threads as long as people post respectfully and don't turn it into a childish word war. Don't worry though, if these kind of threads upset you, cuz these things eventually die a natural death after people get bored with them and stop posting on them.

Floyd makes more in his fights than Pac, and should get 55-45 at least True, yet he will never make more money in a single fight with Manny than any other fight he will ever have in his lifetime. Can you name me just one other fighter out there whom Floyd jr. can challenge who could give him ppv even close to a fight with Manny?

The last time we heard from Floyd's mouth was he is planning to extend his vacation for a year or 2 when asked if he wants to fight Pac... At 50-50, neither of them will EVER find another opponent which could earn them more, even if they each got a 70-30 split. Other than Manny or Floyd jr., who else could either of them fight to possibly match their combined ppv? Can ANYONE here name me a fighter who could POSSIBLY match the earning potential of either Manny or Floyd jr? I honestly don't think so. It is true that Floyd really earns more PPV than Manny, but BOTH of them are equal in the sense that BOTH of them are needed to bring to life a truly memorable fight, boxing wise AND money wise. Whatever they can agree on Im good with. I really dont care if its 50-50 or 60-40 or anything in between. I just want to see this fight happen. There's no question there. But my point is that FLOYD JR WILL EARN SIGNIFICANTLY MORE FIGHTING MANNY THAN ANY OTHER FIGHTER OUT THERE, even if the purse would be split 70-30 in his favor. There is a strong possibility that they may even break or double the previous record held by him and dela hoya of 2.4 million ppv. Lemme put it to you this way. Would you rather fight for a 70-30 split earning you 40 million, or a 50-50 split earning you 50 million or possibly EVEN MORE?
