I got to say I think it's a tough choice, I did watch Pacquiao vs. Cotto a lot of times, but now I'm watching Floyd Shane all the time... So posters, let's vote.
pac-cotto.
pac-cotto gave us 4 or 5 competitive rounds while mayweather-mosley only gave us 2. plus, cotto was supposed to beat pac while floyd was already expected to win.
Pacman-Cotto fight was more entertaining; Pacman showed that he can take the punch of his opponent, and unleashed his own combos!
On the other hand, in Floyd-Mosley fight, Mosley has a great chance, but then, "he simply, can't pull the trigger!" after more than a year of not fighting, Mosley was very rusty, his left jab was just hesitant.
Finally, Cotto has beaten Mosley in the past, but then, he was never considered to be #1P4P!; Inspite of his loss to Pacman, Cotto has proven that he still has it by winning the Jr Middleweight Title!
Pac vs. Cotto HANDS F$#%in DOWN..
Floyd vs. Shane was a snoozer.. Shane was done after that 2nd round and didnt DO SH#$ from the 3rd on..
Atleast Pac vs. Cotto had people at the edge of their seats til Pac slaughtered Cotto..
He hurt Mayweather, Mosley had a legitimate chance in KOing Mayweather.
Cotto boxed good at the very beginning but after that was getting crushed.
Come on people, I know you love your fighter but at least Mosley went the distance, how was that not more competitive?
Cotto was given a worse beating than when he fought Margarito in that fight.
So by that logic, Clottey was more competitive with Pac than Cotto was? Again, you've got to be kidding.
Cotto was more competitive against Pac than Shane was against Floyd. I don't really see how it's debatable. Shane fought for 2 rounds, sure he hurt Floyd, but nothing amounted from it.
Cotto was competitive for 5 rounds. It's a very simple difference.
Going the distance doesn't mean shit if you do nothing over the course of 12 rounds.
Pac-Cotto rounds 1 through 5 were absolutely amazing! If Cotto doesn't touch the canvas in two of those rounds, he wins four of the first five rounds on my card. Round 3 he went guns blazing after Pacquiao knocked him down. Rounds 2 and 4 were action packed. He actually won the 5th and rebounded well after the knockdown that changed everything in the 4th.
On the other hand, I have never seen a world-class fighter, one of the best pound for pound fighters in the world look so clueless in the ring as Sugar Shane looked against Mayweather. His face told the story, he was like a lost boy, he had no answers!!! If somehow he did not land those two big right hands in the 2nd, it would have been a wipe out, 12 rounds to 0 rounds in favor of Mayweather.
Round 2, I was on the edge of my seat because of those 2 punches Mosley landed. Mosley's constant whining to the ref was also entertaining, and when it all boiled over in Round 8 and Mayweather punched him when he was talking, I was stuck in hilarity. Then after Round 8 the domination by Mayweather was also entertaining.
For the Cotto-Pac fight, the devastating 2nd knockdown really had me on the edge of my seat but for some reason Pacquiao's domination was not as entertaining as Mayweather's.
I'd say Mayweather-Mosley.
Mayweather-Mosley for me. Pac-Cotto is probably more entertaining to most, but as a Cotto fan it was a disappointing fight for me.
thats cause cotto got his ass kicked and you didnt wanna see that the whole fight so i can understand why you would choose may/mosely.
Pacquiao-cotto for me, The fight had more drama in it that the Mayweather-mosley fight. The Mayweather-Mosley fight was over after the 3-4th round.
Well to be fair the Pacquiao -Cotto fight was also over after the 4th round. But i agree that pac vs cotto was the much more exciting fight. Pac was looking for a KO the whole time while unsurprisingly floyd was content with just gettin the decision. however i did like that floyd stayed in front of mosley the whole fight, in a defensive stance but nonetheless he beat shane's ass.
I say even.
I truly believed Mosley had the tools to win that fight. It was very exciting to watch. IMO, I still think Mosley has the tools to win if they fought again! lol When he landed that monsterous right...it was mouth dropping! Mayweather held on, grit his teeth, dusted his sholders and proceeded to dominate! It was amazing to watch Mayweather pick his shots and execute. BOOM! If you were a fan of boxing you had to appreciate both fighters and wished they'd fought for 5 more rounds!
Pac and Cotto - IMO, Cotto has the physical ability to beat Pac! I believe the fight was also exciting, Cotto fought valiantly and did the best he could do with the limited corner experience. Cotto shined little here, and little there and when he did it was wonderful. Pac did what Pac does best...he will MOW YOU DOWN...and he slowly chipped at Cotto piece by piece until the uninevitable happend. Cotto remains one of the strongest boxers, strongest meaning (ability, technique, power, speed, and tenacity) Pac demonstrated his ability to out gun Cotto.
Both fights were great to watch despite the decisions and contraversy.
Peace!
9 dead people think Pac-cotto was more entertaining.
MANILA - Nine people including a pregnant mother and her unborn child died on Sunday during the height of the "Firepower" bout between pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao and Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto.
A report by ABS-CBN Regional Network Group said Amelita Pasado went into labor at her home in Naawan, Misamis Oriental past 12 p.m. Sunday at the start of the Pacquiao-Cotto fight. Unfortunately, her husband, Ricardo, was not at home since he was watching the fight at a restaurant in the town.
Ricardo brought his wife to a local hospital after being informed of her condition but the latter died due to blood loss. Their baby also died during delivery, he said.
"We thought that she would give birth in December. Her tummy was already painful but she didn't want to be brought to a doctor," he told ABS-CBN.
Four fight fans in the cities of Butuan, Batangas, Talisay, and Cebu also died at the height of the Pacquiao-Cotto match.
Atillano Caneda, 67, suffered a heart attack while watching a pay-per-view of the fight in his home in Barangay Lagtang, Talisay City. Relatives said Caneda was a long-time fan of the Pacman.
In nearby Cebu City, 53-year-old Rolando Sala also suffered a heart attack while watching the fight at a local restaurant.
Romeo Seno, Sala's companion, said an excited Sala clutched his chest and fell to the floor during the seventh round of the match. The victim was brought to Perpetual Succour Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.
The scene was also repeated in Butuan City and Batangas City on Sunday.
Seventy-year-old Concordio Paredes and his son, Jonathan, were watching a pay-per-view of the fight at the Yetan eatery along J.C. Aquino Avenue, Butuan City when the septuagenarian suddenly fell from his chair and became unconscious during the second round of the bout.
Police said Paredes was immediately brought to the MJ Santos Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physician.
In Batangas City, a 62-year-old businessman also suffered cardiac arrest after getting excited during the second round of the "Firepower" bout.
Cecilio Cabrera, a resident of Beredo Subdivision in Barangay Alangilan in Batangas City, and owner of Pick and Save Supermarket, suffered cardiac arrest while watching the fight at the Pontefino Hotel in Barangay Gulod Labac.
Police said Cabrera was rushed to Jesus of Nazareth Hospital but died later after being revived at the emergency room.
"He got excited during the 2nd round of the fight, when Pacquiao nearly knocked out Cotto," Dess Aclan, a friend of Cabrera told ABS-CBN News.
Aclan said Cabrera collapsed while watching the last part of the 3rd round while Pacquiao was winning.
"Mr. Cabrera's eyes then rolled straight upwards and his body stiffened before the 3rd round ended, while he was clutching his chest," Aclan narrated.
Aclan said doctors in the emergency of Jesus of Nazareth Hospital tried to intubate Cabrera when he showed signs of life but later died due to cardiac arrest.
Meanwhile, in the Davao region, 3 more fans died, all due to heart attacks, during the historic fight.
Vicente Bernal of Carmen, Davao del Norte was dead on arrival at the town hospital after having a heart attack while watching round 3 of the fight.
"Sa second round masayang-masaya siya, sumisigaw-sigaw pa. Pagka-third round, di ko na siya napansin," Bernal's wife Maria said in Visayan.
"May history na talaga siya ng sakit sa puso," Maria added.
In Bansalan, Davao del Sur, Lord Espina, a barangay councilor for Barangay Poblacion Dos, also died of a heart attack, this time while watching the 9th round.
Espina's sibling noticed that he was not moving anymore while watching the fight, and he was then rushed to the hospital, where he was also declared dead.
Bansalan mayor Edwin Reyes said excitement for the fight would most probably caused the heart attack.
In Davao City, retired police officer Jose Paco also died while watching the fight.
In Paco's instance, however, his wife said he suddenly fell from his seat while watching the bout, and suffered an attack. With reports from Arnell Ozaeta, Lorenzo Luzon, May Diez, Trini Velasco, and Francis Magbanua ABS-CBN Regional Network Group

I picked evenly entertaining because I enjoyed watching both Cotto get his ass kicked and Mayweather whooping butt(Not so much Mosley getting his ass kicked cause I am a fan of Mosley)..Just Mayweather looking that good, skillwise, was entertaining.
Rounds 1-4 in Pac-Cotto? Cotto was knocked down twice during the rounds and Pacquiao was obviously just getting started. Competitive? LOL. Mosley in rounds 1-2 put up a better fight than Cotto did vs Pacqauio in the whole fight.
What a joke saying mosley was more competitive in 2 rounds than cotto was the whole pac fight. After round 5 in pac cotto it became clear who'd win, and pac would of finished it sooner if it hadn't been for cottos running till finally getting stopped in the final round.
Then floyd got hit once really good in the second, then he does his usual and we see another 12 round decision. Comparing who's more exciting isn't fair, its obviously paquiao unless you count this years clottley fight, which wasn't pacs fault it was so dull, it was clotteys
