his defense alone with shaft manny----the reason he was defensive against marquez, is coz marquez is another counter puncher and bases his punches off of timing just as much as combination punching---did you see how jmm stumbled against floyd like 3 times by just missing him with punches---that's genius on floyd's part---the best i've seen----you could've also posted floyd vs judah, corley, coralles, tony pep, and others, especially tony pep and victoriano sosa(who might i add fell and stumbled by missing floyd)----because his defense shafted them----juudah and corley both hit floyd---but he still dominated them by using different defensive styles---that brilliance---manny stands no chance---i don't care what people think---the fight will be 1 sided and i'm not joking---- floyd is the most methodical fighter i have ever seen----his technique and movement is damn near as flawless as there has ever been----how is manny going to beat this kid? floyd can catch manny threw his combinations like it's nothing---he's done it since the amateurs---this is nothing new for him---manny had to improve his style---floyd just had to touch his up----the shit floyd does not, he's always done--it's nothing shocking to me---- that video is just a reminder as to why manny pacquaio is about to recieve one pure ass whooping of a lifetime---floyd will make it look so easy---and i will sit back, relax, and just think---i told these mother****ers so years ago----

Floyd does things in the ring that real boxing fans and people that actually box in real life are amazed at. His pull counter on mosley was more amazing than anything pac has ever done in his boxing career alone. He makes it look too easy. That's what causes frustration in the corners of fighters when the fighter can't connect consistently on Floyd. It becomes a "boring" fight only after the opponent's punch output is reduced to almost nil and is eating leather from lead right hands. People start walking out of the arenas when they sense the inevitable result. Ask Shane.

I propose that anybody who says mayweather is boring doesn't understand this video or boxing in general . what is more exciting in the sport of boxing than watching these skills and tactics ?

When you trying your best to hit someone but you cant, but it seems they can hit you almost at will has to mess you up in the head....this is Floyd's greatest weapon Very true..... but there may be distinct reasons why they slow down their workrate. If you didn't figure out how to unlock Floyd's defense by round 6 then you may think it's futile... How to unlock his defense, I feel, has to be planned way before the fight..... but let's face it, quite a few of Floyd's opponents, just didn't have the skills to carry it out anyways.

As i stated before, Floyd goes into his defensive shell every time his opponent tries to hit him with combinations. Floyd more often than not only counters when you throw 1 sometimes 2 shots at a time. Anything more and he goes total defense mode. For further proof, you see that he also did it against lesser opponents. Marquez, who doesn't possess WW power put Floyd in his defensive mode when Marquez threw his combos. Someone like Manny needs to step in, throw combos, step out..... Manny has the advantage of being a lefty, so Floyd's defensive posturing that was witnessed in this video would not be as effective.
