I think this is right, about now. Andre Ward Should overtake him though if he beats Dirrell.
I just watched the first minute of the 12th round. Bute threw almost no punches. He threw a couple weak jabs... and he tied Andrade up 5 times.
So there I told you.
Obviously you don't know what the hell you are talking about because the video does not lie.
I suggest you go watch it, since you are operating on nothing but a shitty memory.
Your potty mouth tirades deter me not. Watch the exchanges. Dude did not get on his bike and try to coast to victory. He let his hands go, which I admit is stupid but he tried to close the show.
Dirrell could not walk back to his corner after the Abraham fight, which could be considered an extenuating circumstance because of an illegal blow (which Abraham denies) but Andrade was also also warned for low blows which may have led to Bute running out of steam at the end.
True, Bute has been hurt so badly in the Ring that other fighters need to be suckerpunched illegally to end up in the same shape.
Thanks for pointing that out, I will add it to my argument in the future.
Watch it again and tell me Bute wasn't throwing everything he had the first part of that last round. Go ahead, tell me.

How stupid are you buddy?
Did you not read my last post that said I agreed with you about the count?
Did you not read where I said that had nothing to do with my point?
I don't care whether or not Bute beat the count, I don't care whether the ref was biased or not. I simply care that Bute is the only Top 5 Super Middleweight who has gotten f*cked up so bad he couldn't walk back to his corner after the fight.

It's all a matter of perception.
Bute fights in Montreal because, um, he fills arenas with 16,000+ fans.
Just curious, what was the attendance in Detroit when Dirrell fought Abraham? It was never announced but looked like, what, 3000 fans, maybe?
Dirrell will have to draw or hit the road. That's the biz side of things.
Dirrell won't win the Super 6 so it's not going to be him anyway.
If the fight did happen Dirrell would whoop his ass just as easily as he did Abe's.
If the ref was warning Bute, isn't that some kind of evidence that he was impartial, and not looking to save Bute with a long count?
C'mon, now.

Bute wasn't trying to close the show, he was dead on his feet already in the 11th round. The referee warned him towards the end of the 11th because he was already holding Andrade at every chance.
Go watch the fight chump.

Ehhhh wrong. What makes you think Bute will stop taking easy fights at home and take on the Super 6 winner?
The only way Bute will fight anybody decent is if he gets to stay at home in Quebec with Marlon Wright as the ref.
The Super 6 winner isn't going to give into the demands of a guy who has been fighting bums in Canada for 5 years.

Welcome to the forum, Andre.
Win the Super 6 and, perhaps, you'll get to prove yourself against BUte.
Hahahaa

Bute won every second of that fight up until the last round. The reason he got gassed was because he was trying to close the show and not coast to a victory. That shows he has guts and not a complete melt down like you described. I do agree he had the benefit of the home ref. Go watch the fight.

You don't even know what class Bute is in because he hasn't bothered to challenge himself with a fight that he is anything less than a 6-1 favorite in.
The only time in his career he was under pressure, against Andrade, he completely melted down.
And Dirrell will not get stopped by a body shot against Bute, Dirrell is a little taller and has 5' of reach advantage on Bute. If anyone is going to get knocked out it will Bute trying to rush in and land a punch that he has gotten away with the past 3 years while fighting guys who couldn't throw a counterpunch to save their lives.

If he beats Dirrell, then he will be unanimously considered #1 SMW in the world. I still have Bute at #1 but Ward is a close second. Lets not get ahead of ourselves because Miranda also UD Green as well.
FWIW I think Bute will face Dawson soon, and if he beats him, that win will be better than anything Ward does in the super six.
Hypothetically lets say there resume looks like this once the super 6 is over:
Ward:
Kessler
Green
Dirrell
Abraham
Froch
(Miranda win prior to super 6)
vs
Bute
Andrade
Miranda
Dirrell (he will be eliminated and Bute will have a shot at fighting him)
Dawson
Pascal
Pavlik
If this scenario plays out (not saying it will but it could happen) I still see Bute as the #1 SMW regardless if Ward wins. Bute will face Pav this fall and possibly Dawson, Pascal and a Dirrell in the remaining time span it takes for the tourney to be over.
I am a Bute fan. I like Bute but he is not beating Dawson.
