A problem with?
Its well documented that Pac has a thing about having blood drawn close to a fight. He went on the record after his loss to Erik Morales to say that it effected him psychologically and made him feel weak.
He knows Pac doesnt tire. He knows Pac doesnt get discouraged. He knows Pac trains just as hard as him. He knows Pac is coming to fight! He had to find SOMETHING to get a psychological edge, and blood testing was the answer.
Prior to his fights with Hatton and Cotto, both Roger and Floyd Sr were saying how Pac is an unskilled one dimensional boxer who's going to get his ass kicked by both those fighters. So he beats them in devesating fashion and now all of a sudden he's on PEDs/A-side Meth? LOL. Cmon.....
Now i'm all for better testing to rid the cheats of the sport, but I feel OSDT is a bit too intrusive for a boxer in heaving training. How is poking a boxers arms/veins during the middle of intense training good? It cant be! I can understand testing for certain ped's that urine cant detect, but there has to be a better way.
Pac's proposal of a blood test the day the fight is announced, 14 days prior to fight night, and immediately after the fight is more than sufficient. Aside from that, he's also willing to undergo unlimited random urine tests. This is more than any other boxer has ever agreed to in regards to prefight testing.
Floyd fans will argue that if Pac has nothing to hide, he should just take the test. Fact is, he's willing to take tests, just not on Floyd's terms of up till fight night.
My problem is, Floyd keeps putting up roadblocks whenever progress is made. First it was 14 days. Pac has now agreed and Floyd wants up till fight night. They both agreed on 50/50 and now its been reported that Floyd wont accept an even split. It's a bit rediculous if u ask me. Just make the fuking fight like he he told Ellerbe when it came time to fight Hatton. Floyd didnt have a problem with Making JMM undergo all these tests, and yet he claims JMM beat Pac 2x.
I think/hope they will both agree on testing until 10 days out, and a even or close to even split. Its the most money they will both ever make. Now if Floyd follows thru with his own words and takes a few yrs off, then there's no defending his actions. It would be a blatent duck!
Its well documented? Since when?
:lol1:
And the blood wasn't the reason EM beat him. Heck, I've heard that Manny didn't have on the correct socks!
:lol1:
GTFOH. I clearly remember dudes saying Pac dont have to take the test if he dont want to.
As for the opening post. I cant believe you posted that bullsh1t with a straight face.
I didnt say it back then, but if he's willing to accept it now, then he should have just accepted it back then. That's what i'm trying to say.
The author of this thread is either a boxing degenerate or a damn good writer, or all of the above. Excellent analysis here as I don't remember seeing any boxing analyst or journalist break this down so clearly. I like the parallel about May throwing it out there numerous times that JMM "clearly" beat Pac twice yet never moved the goal posts on JMM, leading up to their fight in Sept '09. Well of course he faked a rib injury for a better date of Mexican Independence Day for better ppv numbers; oh and who can forget the premeditated 2 lbs over on the scale...but at least there was a method to that both from a business perspective and physical/size standpoint. This filibustering of 60/40 and OSDT'ing up to the day of the weigh-in are holding Boxing at bay and ransom. I can't believe that I have to resort to old school mediums like ESPN or USA Today for the only "truth" about these negotiations; a true sign that Lil Floyd has Boxing at an impasse for the summer months b/c no big fights will be signed until the best-in-class hovering around 140 to 154 know for sure if they are "in" or "out" of the November sweepstakes' date already locked down by Bobfather. Thanks $May for ruining my summer.
Your probably his alt.

I find plenty of things funny with trying to put this fight together and it ain't all on just one fighter
Its not, and I blame Pac for not accepting 14 days back during the first negotiations. Facts are facts though. Floyd is the one creating the hurdles here. Pac has stated several times that he is eager to face Floyd, and has compromised by accepting Floyd's original 14 days and the original agreed upon 50/50 split. All we've heard from Floyd is "Im gonna take a year or 2 off"

you actually took the time to type this b.s.
Who care's, really? We've heard this a million times. Manny fan's say one thing, Floyd fan's will say another. Neither will win this argument as both sets of fan's are equaly bias and unreasonable. Just be a fan of boxing and stop hating a fighter just your favorite fighter does not like them, its retarded.

Just face it, Floyd exposes boxers' weaknesses in and out the ring. But the problem I have is Pac(Im a fan of his also) making that lame ass excuse due to his loss to Morales. Im just saying Pac usually dont care about the negotiations of a fight, he's one of those "whoever they tell me to fight..." boxers but now he's very public about negotiations.
Now that I think about it he blamed it on not having his reyes gloves too lol

apparently the peoples champ also has a problem wit the Benjamins too buddy
Nobody's dumb enough to believe that. How is he making an attempt to clean up boxing if he's only demanding it for his fights? Lets not forget that the only reason he made Mosley do it is because he had to save face due to him asking Pac to undergo testing. Marquez drank his own urine. Why not test him?
have you ever talked to his rimmers on here before?
they believe it
they don't know how many years in a decade either
no
this way Floyd can take the high road
say he wants to "clean up boxing"
smear Pac reputation while playing visionary
Floyd a cunt, but he is smart
