ward vs dirrell will be the most boring fight of 2010

Dirrell isn't the all around fighter to win the tournament. Andre Ward is. However Ward-Abraham might be an intriguing fight.

I fear Ward will apply the same tactics as used against Green. Hopefully Dirrell will be just a tad more game, but I honestly fear it could be an absolute stinker. One good outcome is that one of them loses - hopefully it's Ward although I would rather have Froch and AA in the tourney. Baaah:puke:

So in order to enjoy boxing it has to be a toe to toe war? when in this thread did i even remotely suggest this? stop acting like its impossible for a boxing match to be boring as hell. any sport can have a boring match up - boxing is no different.

Honestly cant be worse then the green fight....ward using that style on a guy who didnt show up at all made it a real stinker. Honestly i couldnt watch it Hope it does have some action i expect neither fighter really wanting to engage, both pop-shotting from the outside, neither ever really wanting to committ. i think both fighters have the ability to make the fight semi-exciting and competitive but i just dont think it will happen. IF it does turn out to be watchable i expect it to mostly be contributed to by ward. dirrell's running in the froch fight made it impossible for me to ever become a fan. every fight in the super six is important for the sport, ill watch an important fight even if i know it will prob suck. i watched ward-green although i did click over to watch leben vs hammill for the last few rounds (a much better choice). i flipped back to catch the post fight and hear green cry.

It could be, I expect the fight to turn out like a similar version of Jones-Hopkins I. That said, if Ward cannot win from the outside, he will try to find his way in and the fight will turn out to be really good. Quote me.

just putting this out there. thoughts? yes it might be but Dirrell has great movement and speed he can win if he doesnt fall into the grab & wrestle game of Ward. If that happens it will be another ugly fight which I will probably turn off as I did with the Green/Ward fight.

You do the math. If Ward and his rough highly skilled style and Dirrells speedy , flashy style doesn't get you excited you might want to find a different sport to follow. Personally I cant wait for this fight. Two elite fighters going at it. Dirrell is fighting to stay in the tourney you bet your ass this is must see TV.
