This type of illogical thinking reminds of Latrell Sprewell back in the day. I used to be a fan of his until these stupid comments. Everyone had a field day with Latrell (who eventually became bankrupt).
Latrell Sprewell says he'll ask to be traded if the Minnesota Timberwolves don't sign him to a contract extension by Wednesday night's opener. ''I think this thing is heading towards me leaving, personally,'' Sprewell told reporters after a practice this week. Earlier this preseason, Sprewell said he wanted a contract extension by the Wolves' opener, against the New York Knicks, or he would ask for a sign-and-trade deal or wait to become a free agent. Either way, Sprewell said he didn't want to negotiate during the season. But he took a tougher stance Sunday. Asked if he would play out the season and test the free-agent market, Sprewell said: ''Why would I want to help them win a title? They're not doing anything for me. I'm at risk. I have a lot of risk here. I got my family to feed.'' Sprewell is due to make $14.6 million this year. Sprewell, 34, described the team's latest offer, reported to be worth between $27 million and $30 million over three years, as ''insulting.''
Don't take this thread personal guys. Just a bit of humor.. lol :drive:

We were going to pass on this story. Latrell Sprewell is in financial trouble, his $1.5 million yacht was auctioned off and his home could be foreclosed. Bor-ring.
But we scrolled down a bit, and learned Spree -- a Milwaukee native -- called his 70-foot boat "Milwaukee's Best." A reference to the Beast, yes? Certainly not his playing ability.
When we get our 70-foot yacht, we'll probably name it something along the lines of, "Dirty Sea-man" or "Cleveland Steamer."
As for Spree, he seems to be having trouble feeding his family. Sad. Where's that multi-million dollar contract when you really need it?
If some of the posters here are right about the Mayweathers and their drugs, those thing are expensive. If that's true than I don't think Mayweather is playing when he said he have a family to feed.
Whatever Latrell Sprewell was the man. They make it like he choked his coach but do you know who his coach was? P.J. Carliesemo-- that guy deserved to be choked just like Justin Bieber or Kim Kardashian.
Latrell was one of my favs until those stupid comments about 30 mill (3 years) not being enough to feed his family. Yes, I remember when he got caught up choking PJ. LOL! Crazy ass shoulda kept his ass with the Golden State Warriors with CWebb. :drive:
