Will catch Mayweather and from then its trouble. I dont know if he finishes him but the right hook from the southpaw stance will cause problems.
Mayweather dont like fighting southpaws and now hes fighting of the best southpaws of all time. I think it was corley who caught him with a right hook which wobbled him a few years back
From an othordox stance in the philly shell that mayweather uses against any sort of southpaw is bad. You've seen how the philly shell arm positioning is like, when going up against a southpaw its a must to keep the left hand up near ur temple or they will just catch ur a right hook counter over and over again.
Pacquaio is gonna shut up a lot of haters. Pacquiao is gonna win
Pac has an awesome straight left and great hooks on both arm. Look at the right and left hook that KO'ed Hatton.
Even if Mayweather's straight right lands, it doesn't nothing to Pacquiao.
if clotteys straight rights busted up pac when he only threw about 1 a round, then im sure floyd will capable of busting pacs face and it may even get stopped on cuts

Really? Before I read anymore
Nice to know all this. Like any of us havent seen this thread before
I think the maximum types of Pacquiao-Mayweather threads was reached a few months ago.

I didnt know his amatuer loss was to a southpaw. Honestly, Some people thought the Judah and Corley fights were hard fights. I thought they were both pretty easy, Having said that you can't compare Pacquiao with those two. He is a much better fighter but I think Floyd does well against southpaws. This is because of the right hand which he landed over and over against Judah and Corley. When a southpaw comes forward the best combination is the jab and straight right hand, Erik Morales killed Pacquiao with this combination in the first fight. What will be key is if Pacquiao can avoid the right hand and land his own punches, Likewise with Floyd and Pacquiao's left.
I dont think being a southpaw is an advantage, It's something that gets talked about abit too much I think.
Pacquiao is comparable with Judah in a sense that he is a quick explosive southpaw, but yes, he is much better than both Corley and Zab.
As you said, the lead right is one of Floyd's best punches, this is one of the big reasons I expect Floyd to bust Pacman up. Pacquiao's speed and angles will always be tricky, it's gonna be interesting to how Floyd can dispatch of that. Pacquiao's foot work is also much better than before.
I think it has to do with the fact his last loss came to a southpaw an as amateur and that Judah gave him some reasonable trouble with the straight left and his ability to get off first.

I dont understand where this "Floyd struggles with southpaw's" myth came from. For one Corley rocked him like once in the whole fight and was with an overhand left not a right hook. Mayweather dominated that fight, Hitting Corley at will with right hand leads and knocking him down in the 8th and 10th rounds. Simular thing with the Judah fight, He was being careful in the early rounds because Judah is a fast starter but figured him out around the 4th round and started to toy with him for the rest of the fight. Judah and Corley did give him some trouble but in the end he dominated both of them. I think the same will happen with Pacquiao, Manny is wide open for straight right hands and that's Floyd's best punch.
