Am I the only one who thought that Green didn't put up any fight. Good fighter my ass, i thought that Green just threw the fight.
I'm not trying to take anything away from Ward, just saying Green did nothing to win the fight
.
This is for the USADA's Tygart quote;
So, this is all about suspicion.Since he didn't suspect Floyd Jr. and Shane to be on PEDs, he discontinued the OST random test 18 days prior to their fight. But he would do the test up to 5 to 4 days prior to the fight if Pacman is the opponent of Floyd Jr. WTF is this ?! This is not of course the American justice that I know.I hope.
What's boring about it?
LOL, where do you want me to start?
First off throwing one or two punches jumping forward and holding. Then leading with his head holding and punching. Driving his opponent into the ropes and supposedly in fighting which in Wards case is nothing more than pushing, holding and occasionally punching. And when not doing the above running circles around the ring.
I don't know how can you not call Ward's style boring but judging by your answer at least you agree is dirty.
I think the quality of the fights in this tournament support this.
These guys are "the best" at 68' but it turns out 68 ain't that great. If it was, the quality of fights wouldn't have been so poor so far.
None of the fights outside of Kessler/Froch have delivered at all.
Kessler-Froch wasn't that good, IMO.
This guy will be like Winky a fighter that wins but nobody likes to see him fight. Ward's style is boring and dirty, he will never be a superstar just a local Oakland attraction and this boxing era cure for insomnia.

I think all the fighters at Supermiddleweight are overrated as fuck. People know I dislike Chad Dawson, but I honestly think he beats all of them. So does Tavoris Cloud. And it's not because they are naturally bigger. It's because they are better. Ward's defense is leaky, he throws wide left hooks, and his slickness is blown out of proportion. Bute is easy to hit too. Abraham is like a deer in headlights when someone throws punches at him and fights exactly like Clottey does. Froch and Kessler are tough. But that's all they are.

Since when is Green a good fighter?
Green is garbage. He's been padding his record with clubfighters and tomato cans ever since he got humiliated and beatdown by Miranda.
Wlad fights garbage opponents, nothing but nobodies on his resume.
I agree, Ward is special in spite of not being the biggest banger.
This fight was no indicator of how well Green will do against Kessler as I don't think Kessler did any better really.
I think if Kessler face held up it would have beent he sam. Niether of the two won a round at all.

I think so as well.
Froch Ward actually intrigues me. I'd be interested in seeing how the inside game would turn out vs those two. It would no doubt be one of the ugliest fuking affairs ever witnessed inside a boxing ring but interesting none the less.
:rofl::rofl: I know right? Green k comin your way.
Not really.
Kessler fight was a good fight, he didn't make Kessler look that weak.
Make him fight Froch, he would look like a totally different fighter. People would possibly start saying S(uper) O(verated) G(uy).
I don't see him beating Froch. I like Ward, I had him reaching the finals with Froch at the end of the tourney. Thing is, Ward's style does not match up well for a guy like Froch. If the real Froch comes to fight, not that tentative guy that fought Kessler.

He's horrible. But not as horrible as the shameless Gus Johnson calling sugar ray leonard.
Wtf?
I don't remember Ray punching, holding, and headbutting every punch sequence.
Allan Green sucks anyway. Miranda already sonned him years ago.
Gus Johnson shows he doesn't know shit about boxing just with that garbage comparison.
Don't like all the holding and wrestling from Ward, but s great fighter would find a way to stop that.
I am expecting a good fight between Ward and Dirrell, and Dirrell is taking that shit. He's gonna do his thing on the outside and not let Ward hold him to a decision.
Mothafukcing Tarver putting the Heavyweight on alert:boxing:.
Ward will not do this to Dirrell, he's going to have to box. Dirrell is too smart, skilled, and strong to let Ward do him like he's done Kessler and Green.
If he does this to Dirrell, someone with as much skill and speed as he does I will become a believer. Some call it dirty, some call it boring, I call it WINNING. He's the type of fighter that will do whatever it takes to win, I can respect that as long as it isn't cheating.
yep, even tho i can't see him holding direll
