What he does is tie Alan Green with his left hand so Green cant use his right hand, and push him against the ropes....punches, clinches then punches
What a dirty fighter
Green thought he was having a boxing match tonight, not a holding and hitting match.
Well, as per my original statement, he should have thrown some ****ing punches, push him off to get the right distance and throw a ****ing punch. I'm sorry to be so blunt, but good damn never in my life of watching boxing have i seen a fighter get pushed against the ropes, who did nothing on the inside and yet still didn't try to get the fight into the middle of the ring or at least off the ropes.
seemed like Green was the one doing most of the clinching.
Come on man, don't let the commentators base your vision. Ward would punch while coming in, drop his head while holding his left arm out and wrap it around Green. Green may have initiated a few clinches, but no way in hell did he even come as close as Ward did. A few times I saw Ward trap and hold onto Greens left arm and repeatedly hit him. I don't know, but that's illegal in the amateurs, and I'm pretty sure it is in the pros.
If Green has a problem with Ward holding, pushing him back to the ropes, and pounding his face in, he should at the very least push him off, or maybe, just maybe THROW A ****ING PUNCH.

Misses a punch. Clinches. Bulls him to the ropes. Leans on him. Repeat.
The guy has skills but he chooses to smother his work and bullshit through a fight. If you have TiVo watch the eleventh round, around :55 left. Green turns him to get off the ropes, and Ward holds him around the waist and steers him to the other ropes to continue leaning on him. Jesus Christ.
I think he's got talent, but this clinching is getting out of hand. Andre doesn't even need to clinch to beat these fighters, but he insists on doing so. It's really ugly to watch.seemed like Green was the one doing most of the clinching.

Im betting on Green, but all hes doing is trynig to hold Andres arm and hit him. God what a bum.
thats because he cant help it
Ward is wrapping his arm in between Greenes arms so it reaches his back, effective but dirty
