Chad Ochocinco eats mc donalds all the time durin training he says. Look at Le Bron James he eats chicken strips and fries before a game. And wayne gretzky would eat 6 hot dogs before each game
It's all about calories. If you want to have yourself 4 Bic Macs, fries and a 2 litres Coke for lunch, you might have to skip dinner :/
thats the worst possible thing you can do is skip a meal
your body will then THINK to keep in fat becuz your not eating. then its hard to lose it
Certain fighters might. But close to fight time it doesn't seem like the best idea. You still have to make weight. Not only that, but the type of foods you put into your body can effect the way you perform.

it truly depends on one's body type / preference really. . .
but i bet they all have cheat days (where they can eat junk food)
someone like Cotto for instance, who seems to be more of an endomporph
may not have the body type to allow him to eat 6 hotdogs without gaining some extra fat (as opposed to Manny or Floyd)
. . . hard to explain, but i'm sure most eat that way.
then again they do train hard and often :dunno:
hatton, toney, arroela defintelly do
Not during training he doesn't and never did, he only ate that crap in between fights. The other two probably did though judging by their physiques.
One of my buddies used to have the IBF Heavy belt, and he never, ever ate "healthy", he would just tell us "No diet is going to bring you success, eat what you're going to eat but portion yourself right".
You can eat pizza, big macs, whatever, but youre not going to get away with eating eight slices of pizza or a large big mac meal and two double-cheeseburgers one the side every night.
He's right. But i'd rather get full off of healthy food than eat 1 slice of pizza and waste all the calories on it.

Our Ricky don't bother with that American junk food. Ee's British to the bone, 'ee is!

On Topic: No, TS but some enjoy Burger King....... James Toney.
Would love to see a BK eating challenge between Toney and Tua. Hatton could officiate (whilst swigging snakebites and stuffing his face with Ginsters). Mayweather could sit off on the sidelines nibbling his slice of low-fat pizza...
It just a hunch, but I feel that Mayweather might be telling a few porkies there. Generally an athlete who puts that much care and dedication into his training also carries that same mentality over into what he puts into his body. Could be wrong though. There's always that one guy who can eat whatever the hell he likes without putting on an ounch of flab. I know because I'm one of them. :biggthump
Floyd does care about what he eats. That video, he was just messing around and was enjoying time with his friends. He has a Men's Health article on him. You don't get a Men's Health article if your a fat ass or unhealthy.

Mayweather eats whatever he wants apparently.

Getting fit is like 80% diet 20% exercise. Unless you're a pro athlete that trains 12 hours a day you have to eat healthy.
Also floyd was talking about eating 1 slice a pizza, 1 hamburger and a coke? That's not even a lot of food for somebody who runs 14 miles a day.
He said on 24/7 now that he's older he has to be smart about candy, bad foods, etc.
That video was put out on April 23rd, the same week 24/7 started ?, in 1 week he went from saying he eats whatever he wants to I'm getting old and have to be careful.
Interesting.
