Pls do a research 1st before uttering bull shits. Manny Pacquiao wasnt promoted by TOP RANK until the 3rd Morales fight. Learn how to read and think! ??? You're saying this to yourself right? I didn't include when he was promoted by Murad Muhammad because he was not on the level he is now. I was not saying Pac has been promoted his whole career by top rank. While the sentence may not be clear it is meant to suggest two things. One, that Manny has only had two bad performances in his last 15 fights. Those were against good boxers. Then two, that top rank has not matched him against a certaion type of fighter as he has made his climb to p4p #1. I will make that more clear next time.

The only "black slick" fighter you could argue here is Joan Guzman. Noone else. And don't forget that it was only after post-JMM that Guzman became the clear contender to Pac's reign at SFW. I don't know how many years Guzman is a champion at SFW but i guess it ws pretty recent. All the other's don't hold any water.

I think the Pac-DD fight was in May. So at the time the Diaz-pacquiao was made Campbell wasn't even the champ. After the May fight Oscar came knocking at the door since the "slickest fighter of all" refused to rematch the Zoombie Oscar at 147 who hasnt fought at that weight for 7 years right?

So if Manny beats zahir raheem then you would say, what did zahir raheem ever do except beat up a washed up Erik Morales. Second point, Morales fought zahir raheem in 2005 at 135. Manny did not move up to 135 until 2008. Thirdly, Besides beating, like you said, a washed up Morales, who else did he beat after that that made him the acclaimed boxer that Manny had to fight him? As stated already, he lost in his next fight. As for Morales, in the second fight. He was beating Manny by 3 rounds according to HBO scorecard and they were stating that Morales was too big for Manny and that Manny should go back down to 126 (not move up to 135). Well, Manny changed everyone's mind since he came back to beat Morales who looked good to everyone until Manny rocked him several times. Still, this is besides the point. Manny has called out Floyd for many months now and they will probably fight each other. So this theory of not wanting to fight a black slick guy is kind of down the tubes.

Since I posted this in another thread let me respond. Top Rank are great matchmakers. Their matchmaker, Bob Goodman (i believe) just got elected to the HOF. Top Rank, not me, not floyd, not pistol whip, not anyone, has chosen not to match Manny against a certain type of fighter. In this case its "slick" boxers. All slick means is just being flashy thats it. I concur. What should have been the topic was WHO ELSE WAS LEFT? Pacquiao kept on going up the weight ladder...he is seeking for bigger and greater opponents. Timing is also the main issue.

only Paulie is or was considered slick out of all those fighters, he wasn't as slick against Amir because Amir did a great job neutralizing Paulie with that Jab Nate Campbell can slip punches especially when he fights you inside but he is not extremely slick, the rest are not slick at all, Mosley and slick should never been used in the same sentence, Mosley has nice head movements but he doesn't slip punches at all he takes more punches then he slips them, same for Berto who many say reminds them of a young Mosley, he is not slick at all and his defense is suspect, and Judah doesn't have much slickness or defense so against that shows you that "Slick does not mean Black" I never saw any slickness in Paulie against Ngoudjou, Ndou, Cotto, Hatton, or even in the first Diaz fight did I saw wow Malignaggi is so slick. I thought he outboxed Juan Diaz in the first fight. But, I didn't see any "slickness from him. He uses his legs but he gets hit way too much for me to call him slick.
