Does that mean you would stop fighting for money?
Can I feed my kids with legacy? I agree with what your saying, don't get me wrong. But the way i see it is a fighter fight for $$$, legacy is something determined long after your career is over.
When a fighter fights for legacy, he still gets money for the fights, perhaps just not as big paychecks as he would have gotten for fighting a fighter of higher economic status.
Stop fighting for money.. Who in the history of boxing did that? No, what I'm saying simply is that I'd fight the big money fights first, once I got enough money for the rest of my life - then I would proceed to fight the legacy fights, which would still bring in money. Just not as many.
I would secure a good bank and then I would be all legacy.
