The thing that gets me about these guys is they don't criticise past fighters at all...........i mean if you know the history of this sport (as good as he was and he is the GOAT) SRR acted like more of a petulant child in negotaitions than Manny and Floyd combined........... these "historians" have short memories.........look at Sugar's pre fight and then post fight analysis of JMM vs PBF.........it's ying and yang, a complete 180.......his ego won't allow him to just admit he got it wrong.......in my view he is no longer relevant.....he is a pompous old fool.........one minute he is saying Pac and Floyd aren't even top 100 ATG....and next time he is asked Pac is in the top 10???? :nonono: wtf could he have possibly done in that timeframe to leapfrog 90 spots in his mind????? ............senile old fool!!!

wtf are you talking about? didn't i say they have floyd as a slight favorite? i just stated why i think that is. they feel the betting public favors floyd slightly. what part of what i stated "don't work that way"? they set the line as to get as much bets on both sides as possible. that's why when one side gets more money on them than the other , the lines move. Do you understand the difference between a pro sportsbettor and a sportsbook? Sportsbettors dont set any lines.

Bottom line, this fight would of happened if Floyd did not call for excessive blood testing demands that he does not have authority over. If the NSAC demanded them then this fight would of happened, but since Floyd through in this road block we are not going to see the fight.. But honestly, this fight aint happening since floyd only fights once a year now FACT..

Neither of them are sure, that's why the fight hasnt been made yet. If Floyd really wanted it, he would have signed. If Manny really wanted it, he would have agreed to the tests. most of these article writers never boxed in their life and know nothing about the sport everyone is entitled to their opinions but i hope their give credit when floyd beats manny and not make up excuses You are interpreting this wrong!!! It's not that Floyd will or will not win. It's that with Manny, these historians are saying, the odds are not as stacked as with let's say a Marquez or a Baldomir. With guys like that, Floyd signs the contract with his eyes closed..... but these historians are saying this is why there are all these delays. So it's possible that Floyd can still win but Manny has enough of a chance that Floyd is not sure about the win and keeping his ZERO in tact .......

I remember when boxing historian Bert Sugar said that Marquez vs. Mayweather was 50/50 and a fight he liked very much. . . days after the fight, you see Bert Sugar discrediting the win, and saying he cherry picked the fight. :dunno: i just don't understand the logic in that.

Mosley went from the most dangerous fighter in the WW division who mayweather was ducking to an old shot 38 year old that never had a chance.
