Tito aint garbage. kid you obviously dont know shit about boxing. Trinidad was a beast.
sure if you are from PR...and im from Mexico. you didnt watch the fight then. i have seen it countless time (i do own it) and everytime i see the same results: Tito won 7-5, 6-5-1 or worst a 6-6 split. there is no way Oscar won that night...
:twak:
If any other fighter had RUN for the last four rounds, they'd be crucified. Yet somehow people believe Oscar got robbed. The only people who got robbed were the ones who paid to watch that farce. Oscar lost and DESERVED to. Not to mention, the fight was CLOSE. He lost the last four rounds and at least two of the first six.

I was a HUGE Tito fan and am of PR decent myself, but I have to admit that he lost to Oscar. Doesnt matter that Oscar decided to run the last few rounds. It still doesnt change the fact that Oscar gave Tito a boxing lesson that night, and won 7-8 rounds prior to those last 2 rounds.

never been a big fan of his. I did enjoy watching him go against Joppy though. I remember that. But I too think he was a bit hyped up. Big puncher for sure but his defense wasn't too good. and if I remember correctly, i think i remember him stepping on his opponents shoes quite often..maybe not. I'm not sure. DLH did beat him though. that's a fact.

Trinidad was great at what he did, but he was completely one dimensional. A good jab was all you needed to stop him. Winky proved it, DLH did until he ran for four rounds.
Truth is, Tito wasnt a great boxer. He was just a great puncher and finisher! His defense was mediocre, and his footwork was akward.
His entire style was based on setting up the big left hook.
