He accomplished more than Smokey Joe. who did he fight in those seven years? were they as good as the 1971 Muhammad Ali?

I easily rate frazier over holmes. Larry holmes alway complains that he is underrated, but I think he deserved his place. Fazier beat ALi when he was closest to his prime whereas holmes beat an old man with parkinsons and heat stroke.

Seen this awhile ago, very well put together video, shows some of the most memorable parts of the rivalry between Ali and Frazier. Thank you for posting here, don't think too many people have seen it. It was originally made a response to the GP ali tribute. IMO it succeeded just as well as gorilla productions.

I have started the debate of whether he is better than larry holmes. This is the main discussion point of this thread. In that case I'll take Holmes. IMO Frazier would have finished Ali in the Thrilla in Manila fight, if his corner allowed him to continue. Both were spent, but Ali was ready to pass out.
