Klit, Jermain Taylor, and now Miguel Cotto have some of the nastiest jabs I've seen.
What do you think he does to get his fighters popping that thing so effectively?
cotto was throwing the double jab and miving to the side. The hook upper by cotto were nasty. If foreman didn't move so much cotto would of ko him in 4. Cotto still not working the body as much.
wtf...they all had great jabs before steward.....
last time i saw people in nsb hyping a new trainer this much for "improving" a fighter was hatton and mayweather sr. :lol1: ......
aside from a bit of imrovement in stance, cotto looked as good as always...
the way he dismantled randall bailey is still my fave performance by him......just brutal text book countering by a short ass compact mofo......
Emanuel Steward is top 3 all time trainer.
He trained Hearns to KO Duran
He trained Evander to beat Bowe
He trained Mccall to beat Lennox
He trained Lennox to beat Klitschko
He trained Klitschko to KO Byrd
He trained Taylor to beat BHOP Twice
He trained Cotto to be Aggresive again
1. Dundee
2. Emanuel Steward
3-100. Everyone else

all those fighters had good jabs emmauel just makes his fighters put it to work
Lennox had a good jab for a heavyweight...but Emmanuel had Tommy from the start as a kid...big difference...
No doubt, Hearns had a wicked jab. I just had to mention Lewis, I feel that Hearns and Lewis were both great at using the jab to set up the bigger shots.

I tell you what...I consider MYSELF very good and adept at teaching guys to throw better, stronger jabs...its probably one of my better points as a coach...and remember Emmanuel trained one of the nastiest jabbers in history, Tommy Hearns...
Don't forget about Lewis, he had a wicked jab.
