The Top 3 Fighters (In Order)=Manny Pacquiao>>>Cotto>Mayweather

Honestly, Manny Pacquiao IS the best fighter in fighting right now. There's no denying that. He just can't be beat. There's a reason why he's universally regarded as BOTH the P4P King AND fighter of the year. Miguel Cotto is the next best fighter. Of course he got beat by Pacquiao, even stopped, but just about anybody these days who actually tries to fight Pacquiao will get put away. It's that simple. I mean, Manny Pacquiao made Ricky Hatton look like one of those tomato cans on FNF. Manny Pacquiao does his owrk with power and speed, something maybe only Roy has matched in his prime (but Roy fought cops and taxi cab drivers). Miguel Cotto however, would beat Floyd Mayweather. Cotto has an excellent jab that he times very well and he's extremely strong and powerful in everything he does. Mayweather if he fought Cotto would pull back all night and get hit to the body. It would look like the Castillo 1 fight just Cotto is more skillful. Of course, Manny Pacquiao beats Mayweather for similar reasons. It was funny to me that last night HBO was saying how Cotto's had arguably the toughest resume/fights out of anybody in the sport. And it's true. So has Pacquiao. Ring experience and what a fighter has done says a LOT about potential outcomes, and it just doesn't lie when you put Mayweather in front of Pacquiao or Cotto. Pac and Floyd on that list for sure, but Cotto? Naw man, Martinez or P Will would kill Cotto at 154.

But what do you expect the most skilled boxer of these era, possibly ever, going to do with a height, reach, speed, experience, strength, defense, and footwork advantage? Possibly the best counter puncher there is, has some of the best defense, seldom gets hit, lowers his opponents work rate every fight, and has some of the fastest hands. Look at the matchups, this fight and the pacquiao fight will look just as bad as the marquez fight. Cotto comes in with his head down and he is always open for an uppercut and a straight right. Floyd has grown into his welterweight frame and is just two much for cotto and pacquiao.
