Miguel Cotto has claimed the LMW title by beating Undefeated Yuri Foreman with a body shot stoppage. I tip my hat off to cotto for moving up in weight but this fight proved nothing. It was a good step in building Cotto's confidence back up but lets face it, Cotto is still a shot fighter. I can't see him beating Paul Williams who throws a thousands punches, I cant see him facing a slick boxer like Martinez. I cant see him moving back to 147 to rematch Pac or Margarito. I feel that cotto has done as much as he could for the sport and should be happy with his win tonight and call it quits. Cotto is a warrior and I'd hate to see him take any more beating especially from a natural hard hitting LMW with speed. Cotto doesnt need a new trainer because at this point its useless. He needs a good friend to sit down with him that will tell him his road has come to an end. I love to watch cotto fight but frankly he's done. Why dont u tell that t Foreman , cuz if Cotto is shot , he sure as hell is shot.

He is not shot, he was just a tad overrated. He picked up a decent win against a guy who he should have beaten in the way he did. I'm interested to see what he will do now, take on the other LMW champs(martinez, williams ect) or go back to WW for another fight.
