a rematch doesnt make any sense to me. id like to see cotto whoop the living hell out of chavez jr :lol1:
i think Pac deserve a little respect for earning his titles and awards...regardless of how the big guys do it in facing him, may it be going down to catch the weight limit., do you think they will climb up the ring at fight night with the same weight during the weigh in?? common, get real..It is Pacquiao's willingness to fight bigger guys but have notice? Everbody wants to beat bigger guys. But Pac does it carefully and not just recklessly...remember recklessness leads you to nothing, that is why Pacman have seven weight division titles and these are not "LITTLE" achievements...
What the hell are you talking about?
Yes i know Pacquiao has a loooong history of rematching shot opponents rather than facing actualy challenges. That is exactly what i said.
I don't see any reason to think that Pac-Cotto II would be much different from the first fight. The gap in athleticism between Cotto and Pacquiao is just too big.
Margarito does not belong in the ring with these champions. What kind of message would you be sending to wannabe boxers if you let a guy make a fortune with bricks in the gloves?
No, this was a good match up the first time around, but i think they should move on from here. Both have some really good potential fights in their future.
No man. Why does Cotto have to beat Pac anyway? Barrera is an all time great fighter and he was outclassed and beaten up by Manny. He has other options. If he somehow beat Martinez it'd be unbelievable in my eyes. Why chance it with a fight we already know the outcome too. Foreman is just not on Cotto's level so he shined.
If he rematches anybody it's Marg. At least I hope.
Yes...
What would make Cotto be able to handle Pacquiaos speed this time?
Cheap title for Pacquiao. Worth nothing in my eyes.
If he wanna fight at 154 why not fight Williams or Martinez?

Cotto isn't beating Pac on his best night...I don't wanna see Miguel get beat up again...
Yuri never took Cotto to that dark place...when Cotto goes there he retreats...and is completely defensive...Pac would take him there like he did before...
id say let Cotto KO Chavez Jr,Cintron or even Angulo before hitting up Pacman again...so he can get used to the weight and work on more power.
chavez jr would fold like a piece of paper if cotto landed those massive body shot that ended the fight.
Cotto still gets stopped. Dont want to see it.
Rumors aside, he's just too damn fast and Cotto looked a bit better, but he would still lose a UD on activity alone. Pac's just a more complete package.
Cotto can still be remembered as a great, he's a three division champ and should not look back.
It's far preferable to Pacquiao-Margarito, and I've always wondered how Miguel would have done with a real trainer, a good corner and no shitty 145lb catchweight. So my answer is yes, I'd like to see a rematch. The build-up might not be as exciting, but the fight would be closer.

I agree, he needs to settle in.
I don't think the fight will happen at the limit either, Pac won't want the extra pounds to slow him down.
