The possibility exists that former WBA/WBC world champion Jorge “Niño de Oro” Linares could be fighting Ricardo “Rocky” Juárez on July 31 in Las Vegas. Linares and Juarez both fight under the banner of Golden Boy Promotions and have been offered the fight, which would be a ten-rounder at 132lbs (between the super featherweight and lightweight divisions). The winner could get a title shot next. The fight would be the co-feature underneath Juan Manuel Márquez vs Juan Díaz for the WBA/WBO lightweight world titles.

How can anyone not like Rocky, he might not be a grade A fighter but he brings it every time. He never complains about who he fights or when, the guy is a true professional. I give more props to Rocky than I do most fighters, that's for sure.
And Linares - Where the **** you been bro, I was calling you Lb for Lb material and after a little hiccup you go an disappear. That's wack man.
He fought last in March, in Venezuela.
He didn't look all that good, IMO.
