lol @ Kessler: "Are we gonna get there before the fights ends?" (as they were trying to find the entrance to the arena)
All of these guys are characters. Nobody's boring. Even Abraham with his limited English vocabulary manages to inject some humor. :D:
Can our Danish posters please explain to me why everyone in Kessler's camp, including him, speaks such good English?
Another good episode.
The primary reason that this is superior to 24/7 is that it's about documenting events, not hyping a fight. 24/7 consists of people trying to sell you something. 360 shows what happens, and it's all real. The argument between the promoters at the start, the dispute over the CF/AA venue, Froch's reaction to defeat etc.
One thing I found interesting was that both corners told their man that he was behind after 10 rounds. Both Montoya and McCracken seem to be good motivators, enthusiastic while still being able to think and analyse.
Another thing I've not seen anyone mention is that it's now on videotape that Sauerland said that Froch/AA should be in Las Vegas. For anyone paying attention, Froch wants the fight in the US and Sauerland are now refusing.
So if you're keeping score, that's twice that Sauerland have offered to have Froch/AA take place in a certain venue (first the UK and now the US) only to then refuse to stick to their word later on.
My only complaint would be that there wasn't enough on Ward/Green. They could've done one episode on each fight instead of having 20+ minutes of Kessler-Froch and only giving Ward and Green a few minutes each. AG seems like an interesting character and could make for a good episode if given enough screen time.
Great Post !!

Nice, thanks.
^^^Im absolutely blown away by this series!!!
Super Six Reasons why its Better:
1. Doesnt feel as scripted as 24/7
2. More behind the scenes access
3. No BORING Narrator!!
4. Carl Froch is a very interesting guy
5. Its nice to see the different locations outside Las Vegas
6. We get tot see reactions during the actual fights
7. We get to see post fight reactions and aftermath.
Props for the vid man, missed the episode last night and spotting this thread meant I didn't have to go looking for it on Showtime's website. Very good episode, though I wish there was a bit more about Green in it, he's brand new and there hasn't really been too much spotlight put on him just yet.
184 sparring rounds he said. He said that before the fight. That is a lot. I was afraid he left the fight in the gym if you know what I mean.
Yeah that's a lot but he was obviously very confident in what they had accomplished in camp. If I had watched that before the fight I would have placed a bet on Kessler.
Froch... lol.... what a queen.
He was bragging about getting 2 stiches without a local.
I got suckerpunched when I was 15 years old and had to have them in my lips and my gums without a local (which hurt like hell) and I never realized it was something to brag to my family about.
I really liked the honesty and candid opinion expressed by Kessler's trainer.
He knew what the score was and had Kessler prepared for the fight of his life.

Practically all the conversations in danish was slightly off the mark. for example as Kessler is heading for the arena the dialogue between Mikkel and the driver (Thomas Macon) is not correctly translated. The officer asks if they are cops which is translated as if he asked if they are boxers.
Oh well. Minor complaints in a great show.

One thing that nobody has mentioned that I found interesting was at the very beginning when Herchmann was giving Goossen sh*t for couterprogramming against Ward-Green and forcing the date to be moved to accomodate Chris Arreola on HBO on that date.
I figured at the time that Showtime had to have been really pissed off about it but I did not expect to get a look at the actual conversation on the matter.
Fight Camp is better because they cover 6 boxers and promoters instead of just two. With diverse backgrounds: Americans, Brits, German/Armenian, Danish.

The difference between a boxer and a cop is huge. You should call showtime and tell them if you can be translator. Tickets to Kessler's next fight!
What was off, Bat?
I though Goossen's "Next time say it in front of me" line was great.
BTW, was Kessler watching Dexter? :lol1:

Thanks for posting. Another great episode. The translation from danish to english was somewhat off though.
^^^^ :lol1:
Classic lines. I hope this defeat doesn't take the humour out of him. The danes loved it.

"I'm usually intimidating at the weigh-in but I think I'll go easy on him as I want him to turn up tomorrow."
LMFAO - Another classic Carl Froch quote.
"I hope it doesn't soften me up a little bit" (Froch talking about his kid)

Shouldn't it be better when you have to wait a month between episodes? 24/7 is weekly and only it shows only a few days from when it was recorded.
usually with monthly episodes you lose interest because that's too long in between programming to keep your interest. With weekly episodes like 24/7 your interest is maintained at a certain level and you get your fix more regularly building up towards the fight.
so really it should be the other way around, but it's not
i will say this again. fight camp 360 > 24/7
