The man can be very heavy handed, if he feels like it.
In his last fight against Santos, he knocked Santos down twice and Santos has a great chin.
I'm not saying it's gonna happen, but Foreman might be able to knock down Cotto if he gets the right punch in.
if only khan fights at the same weight level as foreman...you and wazaa would engage in an epic forum battle :D
lmao.. for a little while i thought it might have been Wazza's alt.. but i got 100 epoints on Wazza winning this battle.. any takers? :lol1:
Actually when Yuri started he seemed to have good power against the guys you fight in your first ten fights. He eventually became a safety first fighter and actually is a very good boxer. But I still feel he will not be able to handle the pressure Cotto will put on him. Foreman's best hope is that Cotto hasn't recovered from the Pacquiao beating.
Foreman and Malignaggi are completely different.
Malignaggi is naturally feather-fisted.
Foreman is feather-fisted BY CHOICE.
:haha::haha::haha::haha:
This is some sig worty shit
Speaking of Santos, if i remember correctly he took that fight on short notice and had'nt been in the ring for over a yr and half..On top of all that, when he began to pressure Foreman late in the fight, Foreman started to run so...
yep Santos has never been iron chinned but for the fight against Foreman Santos looked out of shape and I believe was coming off yet another 1 year layoff. After rewatching that fight Foreman did some good work but he also did a lot of waiting and circling without throwing anything and this was when Santos was doing nothing but loading up on the left. Unless Cotto is truly damaged goods or Yuri takes a quantum leap forward I see Cotto outclassing him and maybe stopping him late.
Oh I forgot Santos also got hit by a nasty headbutt and a lot of Yuri Foreman rabbitt punches.
Based on what exactly? He was starched by a single shot from Kofi Jantuah and nearly taken out by a shopworn Yory Boy Campas. He was also down against Neil Sinclair and Sergiy Dzinziruk both.

Foreman seemed to go for the KO early.
A lot of lead right hands and over the head right hands.
He is very fast on his feet.
He'll will need them to survive.
I haven't been able to get any footage of Foreman's win over Thompson.

I became a fan of his after the Santos fight. I am a fan of him because he is a classic example of a pure boxer who utilizes great footwork.

when and why did you become a fan of one of the most boring fighters in the sport yuri foreman?
