Was Erik Morales in his prime for the 2nd and 3rd Pac fights?

everyone was saying manny was gonna ko marquez in the rematch because he had improved and what the fuk happened after the fight? marquez was robbed and his improvements were bullshit, marquez was just better then his ass and still is. Robbed? Try to be a bit more neutral with your comments. It was a close match. Manny did hurt and knock down Marquez once. That was probably the difference in that fight. I was rooting for Marquez yet I never felt any robbery took place, as you had stated. It was a great fight. Marquez did what he knows best. That is, he was able to counter punch Manny well and had a good defense. Manny did what he knows best and that was to knock down once and occasionally hurt Marquez. It was a close fight, no robbery.

When he tried to mix it up with Pac he had trouble. Furthermore, Morales HAD NO DEFENSE for Pac's left hand. That's what made Pacquiao take control, weakened Morales's legs then KOed him.

No he obviously wasn't, but he looked okay in the second fight and I rate that win fairly highly. I have more of a problem with the weight than his age in that one tbh. The third fight was just overkill though.

dude, he fought raheem at 135 becuz he couldnt make 130...he chose to move up because it became too hard for him to make 130. pac made him fight at 130 in their fights. do the math. His best weight was 135? No, he couldn't do or be as effective at that weight compared to the lower weights. As I stated in previous posts, I wouldn't mind if the fight happened at 132 either. I WAS ROOTING FOR MORALES IN THAT FIGHT!!! At 130, they had at least 2 really good fights. Morrales won one and was winning by 3 rounds and had control in the 2nd fight. HBO crew was ready to count Pacquiao out and stated Moralles is too big and that Manny's better at 126. Only when Pacquiao had that big round did things change. You guys can't give credit and I explained to you all, that Corrales also had weight issues, had the flu and prison was waiting for him after the Floyd fight. As I stated before, you can't change your logic just because we went from Manny to Floyd. That would be insane. Right?

Pacquiao prime vs Morales prime would always be exciting to watch just like Morales prime vs Barrera prime. this weigh in was for the rematch after he had lost to raheem badly at 135.... the third fight was unnecessary and all he did was just work out to try and make the weight and not even train... I thought he looked the same way for the Barrera fight too. The guy always had problems on making weight, and looked sickly but like James Toney it only became a problem when he lost. He Defo wasn't prime though.
