hes been getting some decent media these past few weeks, post your opinions on him so far, Pros(tools he poseses that will get him far) and Cons(visible weakneses that lead to his downfall).
Much improvement. He has actually looked very good in his last 2 fights. He has his feet on the ground. He works very very very very , extremely hard , and u can tell , he has no amateur background. He can work on his defense a bit , but overall I think he is on the right track. I think he could take it to Cab. Escalante maybe in 2.
He still needs to sharpen his skills , I dont think he is in his prime. And Rigo at this moment will be a big mistake.
But on a side note. YOU KNOW HE IS DOING SOMETHING GOOD!!!! SHIT , THERES ALREADY CHICANOS HATING HARD. SO U KNOW HES DOING SOMETHING GOOD LMAO
I think he's a good young fighter with time to improve. At the moment there are several good young fighters around and some great future matchups. Creates alot interest for me.
obviously you morons never saw that fight, i might have to upload it on youtube to get a good laugh at you idiots.
I saw the fight and it was close, the draw was a right call, he had trouble early on but finished strongly because Cardenas believed it was a 6 round fight, had the fight been 6 rounds Cardenas would have won, but it was an 8 round fight and Vazquez either won by a round or drew with Cardenas. The draw was still the right call, and still that was one of his early fights, if you see his recent fights you'll see he has only gotten better.
Struggle? He whooped that ass and almost got robbed!
He lost that fight. Even the commentators (Bob Sheridan?) believed Cardenas won the fight by at least 2 points.
Good fighter, very quick learner. Might need a little more time before fighting the elite guys but at the rate he has progressed, considering he had no amateur career, he could be fighting and being competitive with the elite guys within a few years.
Vazquez looked sharp in his last fight. He has a veteran's poise. But he could tighten up his defense though.
Right on the button.Just watching his fights he looks like a veteran.A semi trinindad in my own opinion. And Yes, the defense could get some tweeks.
they all act like vazquez jr is the best fighter now... i still havent forgotten that fight in mexico where he struggled against a bum and got a draw, talk about luck.
Figures enough

Will he be as good as his father who knows? Does he have balls yes he does. No amateur experience and a world champion already my respect goes out to this kid, he speaks real well when interviewed and has the BALLS to call out fighters and seems to be genuine. Very likeable and i hope he becomes a damn good PR fighter and make them proud out of the boxer spawns i like him best and seems to improve in every fight. Only time will tell.
my opinion is way better than his father the kid has no amateur experience is been fight for 4 years and look way better than guys with 300+ amateurs fights has power real skills great boxing ability's
What's so funny about it?? Escalante ain't no slouch and Vazquez isn't Wilfredo Gomez.
You know why I laughed, dont act stupid!!
Im a Escalante fan I know he aint a slouch
At first I though he was on his road to be just a contender but he proved me wrong. I used to think he had serious stamina issues but I saw him live and despite being kinda tired he never stopped throwing, he showed heart and determination. He has good footwork and above average power, his defense needs some adjustments but it's not like Escalante or something like it.I would love to see him against that sloppy ass Caballero.
The kid is improving steadily. In the matter of 2 fights he went from face first brawler to a decent boxer puncher using his jab to set up his hard punches. He is a nasty body puncher also. He still have holes in his defense, and his foot work.
at first I tought he was going to be just a decent contender, but not a champ. But sure is proving me wrong.
19-0-1(16KOs) SBW champ with 1 defense at 26 and he picked up boxing at 21, is pretty damn good
