In boxing from the moment a fight is made we can usually tells whether its going to be a war (Cotto-Margs) or if its going to be a bore (Jones-Hopkins 2).
What were some fights you saw that were more entertaining than you thought they'd be?
My pick has to be Winky Wright vs Jermain Taylor, Winky stood there and fired with Taylor and was abusing him up against the ropes (albeit with not much punching power) and made a balloon of his left eye with that jab. 11 rounds of action and then Winky coasted through the 12th which would've sealed it for him.
Jean Pascal vs Adrian Diaconu I was also a great fight, back and forth action and I think it was round 5 where Diaconu was knocked down but came back to buzz Pascal hard and almost knock him down.
that list is so big it's not even worth posting. So many times I'll be watching a couple guys that are no names, or maybe one heavily favored guy against a bum, next thing you know it turns out to be a war.
A PERFECT example of this was Luna vs Luna on Friday Night Fights a couple weeks ago. that fight wasn't even supposed to be televised but because previous fights were short, they got air time. Two kids, both with pro records of 0-0-0, fought a four round war. It was great :boxing:
**** youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu I was JUST about to post this fight and I was going to say "That FNF from the other week where those two no names had a four round WAR." Man that fight stole the damn night it was fantastic.
Those fights surprised you?How?
all three where expected to be FOTY type fights and lived up to there billing.
Just what I was about to say.
To the people saying its pointless to name fights, just name them.
I'm looking for fights to watch, already downloading a few off this list which I haven't seen, so please continue and share some good fights with your boy.

too many to mention but
leuvano-santiago and more recent perez-mares.
I thought Mayweather vs Mosley was hella entertaining. Not just the first two rounds, but the dominance from the rest of the fight. Amazing stuff to watch, but that might be personal preference though.
David Tua Vs David Izonritei was a war, everyone thought Tua would blow him away but they went at it with some serious punches being exchanged and that crazy french woman in the background yelling "Allez David!!!"
Andre Berto Vs Luis Collazo was also a good one that caught me off guard, didn't expect it to be that good of a fight or even that close of a fight.
Gatti-Ward 1.
Me and the wife just watching HBO Boxing, we both are fans of Gatti. At the end we were like WTF!!
^^This...I too am a Gatti-(correction) fan, and i was flipping out watching that 1st fight. I had adrenaline rushes big time..lol. Or the 1st Marques-Vasquez fight, which i figured would be good, but a non-stop war broke out. What a mess! Lol!
