It's at the end of the top ten if it's in it. Let's see.
In no particular order
Footbal
Basketball
Baseball
Hockey
Nascar
Tennis
Golf
MMA
Boxing
Soccer?
This is probably how it really is. In this exact order too.
boxing's probably 8th-10th or it can also go down to the 11th. its the "red light district" of sports. it can never be NO. 1. even during roman times, those times of the gladiators it is also not no. 1,
its bloody today its less bloody compared to the past. its a bloodsport, if you will make a comparison put it in a classification where full contact karate or mixed martial arts is, definitely it can be no. 1. but all sports considered, team sports can knocked off individuals from any classifications.
IMO it really depens what state were talking about, for ex. in NY boxing is top5 easy but down south in the rednecks areas its not even top 10 IMO (im talking about areas where friday nights are dedicated to high school football, every car has an dale earnhardt sticker on it ect ect)
With the NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA, Nascar, etc. All the sports available, where do you think boxing ranks.
theres more than 10 popular sports in america? :lol1:
Seems like football baseball basketball are get 99% of the media coverage also golf and that other "sport" nascar hell figure skating is probably above boxing
boxing probably #10
The only sport I follow is boxing I dont know how people do it wasting their time and lives meticulously following each and every sport. Bunch of crazy people. :usa1:
Right now I think it goes:NFL,MLB,NBA,College sports(basketball/football),Nascar,NHL,Golf, and then Boxing. So yes, it is in the top 10 but towards the back end.
Wow. Id have thought it was more popular than that. When you see the big fights in America the arena's are nearly always full and the publicity is huge. But im European so I don't know much about the other sports in America.
In Europe, Boxing is huge. Proberbly among the top 3 sports...
