is it shown on free tv?
from my understanding , it's shown on free tv with tons of commercials on delay.
people watch it in movie theaters and ppv to see it live.
i think that's how it works over there. not sure though.
Some cable service providers especially in Mindanao show it live for free. I dont know if its illegal thou.
i think its legal.. i heard there mostly sponsored by politicians or the cable provider compensates for the expenses they made by inserting advertisments in between rounds or small pictures in the screen advertising products. or so i think.
Yes, thats why his ppv sales are held back.
Yes, and why PPV numbers don't really count in terms of popularity especially when Pac's own country watches it for free.
They are free on TV with long commercial breaks in between rounds. (not only Pac fights but all the fights) You pay a fee if you want to see it in a big-screen (theaters, no commercials).
Do people pay when they have hundreds of people watching the fight in one room?
lol well I know nothing about the bad math....all i can say is pac fans like moderntalking are annoying as hell
Oh that's just how it works on forum though, who gets annoyed more gets a heart ailment or a smashed keyboard.
o we just couldnt avoid flomo pactard talk in this thread...
Come on dude, don't get butt-hurt, it's true anyway flomos were damn bad at math despite their counting prowess with ppv sales.
do you think pac would have won the award if floyd didnt ever retire....thats the only debate ever worth having on that topic. its not debateable that pac deserved it after floyd retired and didnt clean out the divisionI think floyd would have had the chance had he not retired but then again who would he have fought? I wouldn't want to go into that again if you know what I'm saying.
LMAO, a decade for one flomo is from 2000 - 2010, which is a year more than a decade. But maybe he's stretching it one more year to give floyd a chance to get the reward. LOL

wtf, why 3.6k?? Did he fly first class, or last minute on a Christmas? lol. Last time I went home was 2007 and average is about $1500 I believe, but I believe it doubles during holidaysYes it was the peak season and he is from orange county by the way so maybe the agency he contacted charges big. I don't really know but that's the amount he told me.
the reason being americans have more expendable cash to spend on sh*t they dont need. the pac fights are free in the philippines because pac has a deal along with arum to show his fights. pac gets the majority of the philippine tv deal while arum & top rank make a killing selling broadcast rights to other foreign countries.
the uk sometimes have to pay for mega event fights. but mexico & throughout latin america, all the big ppv major events are free on television.
third world countries aint paying ppv for boxing fights, nor can they afford it.Yeah I understand how it works. I even heard that you don't have free TV in the US, you have to pay a cable network to get access to TV shows. In the Philippines, once you have a TV, just put an antenna and you will have access to 10-15 channels, depending on what province you are staying.
A friend of mine was here 2 year ago in december and got a package deal of 3.6k back and forth but no accomodation. I gues it's cheper now.

He just converted it to dollars as we know flomos are pretty bad at math...LMAO, a decade for one flomo is from 2000 - 2010, which is a year more than a decade. But maybe he's stretching it one more year to give floyd a chance to get the reward. LOL
I'm actually thinking about going on vacation to the Philippines this November so that I can experience how the atmosphere is over there when watching the Pac fight. It's his last fight, so that should be exciting, just need to save around $2k for round trip, lol.A friend of mine was here 2 year ago in december and got a package deal of 3.6k back and forth but no accomodation. by 10 dollars in theatre you mean U.S dollars? dont you have your own currency over there
