Just last year Floyd vs Marquez did 1 million PPV Buys in September. 2 months later Pac Man vs Cotto did 1.25 PPV Buys. In December the first thing Floyd said is he did those numbers all by himself and he didn't have a dance partner and Manny did (Floyd said Cotto was a huge draw). Floyd felt for that reason alone, he wasn't going to take a smaller cut of the money. Now that Floyd numbers out did Pan Man numbers in thier next fight, he want a bigger cut of the money! But Floyd Failed to mention that Pan Man didnt have a dance partner and did 700,000 buys with no 24/7(i could be wrong but I dont remember Pac vs Clottey 24/7). It should be 50-50, be honest guys. - Both guys are arguably sharing p4p #1 status - Both have huge fan bases - Both generate good PPV figures - Both could never make as much money in one fight without the other NOW JUST MAKE THE DAMN FIGHT!!!!! Agree 100%

you do realize that spending 8 million dollars on advertisement and receiving 60 million to go into the company bank account is not a failure. You should take some business and marketing classes if you ever want to further your education. Floyd v No Dance Partner = 1,000,000 Pac v No Dance Partner = 700,000 Floyd v Dance Partner = 1,400,000 Pac v Dance Partner = 1,200,000 Now you could argue that Pac v Clottey didnt have a 24/7, but what good would a 24/7 would have done when Clottey has no personalty and has no compelling back ground story. They still had a countdown show which compensated for the 24/7 and the big selling point of the whole event was the fact that it was taking place at the cowboys stadium. That said the only comparison can truely be made by the opposition that they both faced. Like the Mayweather vs Mosley which only did over 1M ppv buys and Schaffer was expecting over 3M buys since they spent so much money for the fight and it turn out to be a total failure!!! You do realized all this ads are not free and the fight has to do really good to make up for money spent?

Your argument is flawed because, though Clottey-Pac didn't have a 24/7 you can go back to the Cotto fight and Floyd still out sold that one as well And lastely.... Floyd has always made it quite clear that he's all about the business and money and cares very little about legacy so he has the higher ppv numbers and history so of course he's gonna try to maximize his funds... Soo if Manny is all about legacy like how some people claim then Floyd wanting more money wouldn't effect the negotiations at all and Manny would comply...
