You can be arrested for attempted murder. Attempting to cheat and getting caught is the exact same thing as cheating. If you get caught with a cheat sheet at school, you're done, whether you used it or not. Same thing applies here. He attempted to cheat once that we know of, and we don't know how many times he did and got away with it. So since the TS used that as an example, I'm asking him to explain when Margarito has been caught using illegal wraps during a fight. Margarito is currently suspended indefinitely by the California State Athletic Commission. CSAC expects other states to comply with their suspension (and they have already, Texas being the first to deny Margarito a boxing license.) The Commissions attitude towards someone defying their authority and fighting out of the country is generally that the person will never get licensed to fight in the U.S. again, meaning Margarito will always have to fight somewhere else. and rightly so, hopefully this will remain the case. What he did was a disgrace and I also tend to agree with the OP that if there was any justice Margs would have done a bit of bird.
