Tomasz Adamek and his team wanted a Roy Jones fight?

Just read on boxing scene main page that roy jones was turned down by all the tv company's for a adamek fight? are adamek and his team for real???????? roy is a washed up lighheavyweight it would be the mismatch of the year. Well,it would be too much,Adamek would knock Roy cold. They are goin to kill Roy at the end.

No. Someone posted false information. Adamek never had any intentions of fighting Roy Jones. Jones' people approached Adamek's team with a decent money offer but no network wanted to televise it. Networks were interested in Holyfield but he wanted too much money. :chairshot

Why did that thread get locked? It was a good informative thread with no trolling. :dunno: I have no idea. The thread starter doesn't have the best reputation here, but it was an interesting thread.

There was talk in 2009 but in the locked thread it was said that there talks of Adamek-Jones fight this year. I couldn't find any information on it, so it's probably false.

Its more pathetic and crazy that Jones wanted to fight Adamek IMO. Retire Roy. And Shame on Adamek if this is true.
