Floyd wanted Martinez didn't he? And Martinez said he wants Floyd. So why doesn't that fight happen if Pacquiao fight doesn't happen? How many OST tests does Martinez have to take to get in the ring against Floyd?
Or does it mean you know who to fight and when to fight them. Or does it mean other boxers may have avoided you so thats why your 0 is still there?
Calzaghe retired undefeated and I haven't heard one word about him being the greatest despite good scalps on his resume.
He wont be mentioned as one of the greatest despite since many believe he stayed in Europe too long before leaving to fight in America, but he'll sure go down as an HOF'er so that isnt bad
martinez can get in line, right now its pacquiao's turn to try to take away that 0. I guarantee if pac passes on the fight we will see floyd/martinez and I think floyd is a slight favorite in that fight as well.
Which one is the harder test in your opinion Martinez or Pacquiao? I think I'll go with Martinez just because he is in the bigger weight class. But Martinez can't play around too much against Floyd. I noticed Martinez likes leaving his hands low to invite his opponents in to counter them... Not what you want to do against someone like Floyd.
So when does that Martinez/Floyd fight happen like Floyd said he wanted? Because Floyd would destroy Martinez right?

Now days with mulitple titles being undefeated means little. It would take a fighter unifying and defending the undisputed title while being undefeated to equal some of the accomplishments of many of the greats in history. Mayweather(whom this is about) has carefully managed to remain undefeated and though better than Sven Ottke has not taken the challenges or become an undisputed champion or tried to prove himself by taking risks. He hasn't by his own choice. And I'm afraid many of us long time fans of the sport, it is to late for him to erase those choices.
since i know for a fact you are a pactard, this is a thread taking a jab at floyd but let me just tell you, pac has fought the same guys floyd has at the higher weights....aside from a NON-PRIME cotto except he also has 3 losses from earlier in his career. why is it so hard to deal with the fact that no one can beat floyd mayweather(so far). always looking to discredit him....

No it doesn't. They're not undefeated, so they're irrelevant.
I wasn't talking about them being undefeated but the fact that they basically destroy their opponents because they could be that much more talented then their opponents. Meaning they may get discredited in some ways Floyd might get discredited. Thats what I meant by that post.

It depends who is on your resume.

That sucks for the Klitschkos seeing how they are beating everyone at heavyweight like they are nothing. Either they are that talented or that division is just weak. Just like Floyd in some ways, how he makes good fighters look like shit eh? I guess good defense does pay-off. I mean both Wlad and Vitali got alot better with their defense after a couple of losses on their resume.
Rocky Marciano isn't recognized as the Greatest Fighter ever let alone Best Heavyweight ever, and he was undefeated :dunno:
Is Floyd the greatest fighter of all time!? No one can beat that perfect defense right? No one, everyone ducked Floyd! Cotto, Williams, Margarito, none of them wanted Floyd right? They all priced themselves out against the goat!
