POLL: Berto vs. Alvarez

Berto by stoppage. Alavarez isn't ready for the title holders, and will not be for at least another year to two years.

I think Berto would pull out with a UD or SD. Alvarez has the experience but he hasn't fought top competition like Berto.

Great exciting matchup, IMO. I think Alvarez obviously is still too green, but Berto isn't a vet himself. How do you see this fight playing out...? This is a mismatch. Berto is much more seasoned than Alvarez. When Alvarez hits 23 different story.

140lb Jose Cotto for being a bad finisher didn't stop Canelo in the 1st round plus he was at 147. 147lb Berto with his explosive style and more amateur/pro experience, handspeed, and more power, stops Canelo imo. I think Canelo can be good and i'm not hating on him, he's 19 he should be fighting bums for now or not bums but C class fighters. Berto is an a class fighter who can give elites at 147 all they can handle. You know what bro,Cotto landed punches on alvarez in the rest of the fight and didnt seem to hurt him.I think alvarez in the first round didnt see the punch,And got hit good.I seen berto droped and by not too good fighters.But i stay favor berto only on experience.

If they fight it would be at 154. Canelo is too green to fight Berto now and then when he's finally ready for Berto I think he will grow out of 147 and will have to go up to 154. If Canelo's career is handled properly I see him being a 3 division champ 147-160.

It's a "meh" fight for me. Not a big Berto fan, tbh. I do like Canelo but I think he's in the wrong weight class. He's too big for WW, IMO. I'd rather see him against Perro, Julio, hell even Kermit. Angulo.............

In about a year I'd pick Alvarez. Alvarez is obviously more skilled, Berto is more athletically gifted. Right now I'd pick Berto of course. But I like what I see from Alvarez, he does all the right stuff in my opinion. :lol1: olivia munn there's some great gifs of her out there

Exciting fight for sure. Two or a three fights from now, Alvarez shocks everyone. I think his technical abilities would exploit Berto's flaws. I also think Alvarez accuracy would get too Berto as he's charging in throwing punches then clinch. If the fight went inside, I'd also favor Alvarez. If his chin could hold up and stay away from that uppercut, I think he wins a SD.
