I was thinking to myself after the Mosley fight that Floyd's speed was very impressive, but then I was reminded of the speed he held at 130.
This is the fastest left hook I have ever seen:

You definitely aren't alone my friend. Floyd has gotten noticeably slower since his Jr.WW days but he is still faster than everyone else so it doesn't show much. I remember watching him against Manfredy. He would throw lead right hands I would have to rewind to watch again to catch it. He could stand up to any LW ever.
That straight right hand he used reminded me of Roy's. I'm sure he can still do that but it's risky.
floyd did lose speed, but he focuses more on timing than speed anyway, which makes him just as fast and effective----the floyd at 140, no fighter wanted to fight him there-----they waired until he moved up to his peak weight and slowed down---oscar didn't want to fight floyd at 147, shane didn't want it either at the time---ricky damn sure didn't want floyd at 140 iin 2005, and kosta and vivan harris were too busy losing to want floyd---judah might have wanted it, but he decided to wait-----winky didn't take it serious, i don't know why, floyd took it very serious and was the bigger draw, and winky priced himself out----duck move---now manny and freddie are looking for another decline in floyd, and they won't be able to get the job done----sorry guys---
Shit I'm probably alone in this, but I saw a noticeable decline in Mayweather's overall speed from Jr WW to WW.

Now thats fast.
It's funny how today Mayweather would be one of/ if not the biggest SFW in the division. But in Mayweather's days at SFW, he came across alot of SFWs his size/ even bigger. It's almost stunning to say the least.

I mean...
WTF?!
i think you're talking about the counter left hook he landed on the kid in his fourth fight---he landed it twice on the kid---i think it was the kid's pro debut---floyd's speed at 130 was jaw dropping, but his accuracy is what made me think, he can't be beat---even though, he's human, and he can be beat, the skill he showed, even at 130, even at such a young age, just further proves just how great this kid is-----he has always been accuare with his shots, throwing combos or potshotting, moving back or forwards---throwing many punches or not so many punches---he has always been a thinking fighter----which is why he has been so dominant---and why he will dominate any fighter you put him in there with, next up, manny pacquaio, stop running from the inevitable manny----floyd isn't going anywhere---you will have to face the truth----and it'll be a long night for manny----he's getting his ass whopped---

You're not the only one. He was much quicker during his 130-140 days.
Just imagine how a prime Floyd would do today...
