Talking mess is just classless in my opinion. Two people going against eachother are in a sport. They should act like it.
Now, I understand rivalries and all that, but is there really a necessity to be talking down to the opponent?
If they're good at it.
Same hear...Ali was the Master of trash talk. Lotsa people hated him and loved him. It helped sell fights big time.
yes if they can back it up
Again, floyd trying to imitate Ali...just not working...lol.
Only if they're funny.
Yep, there's gotta be humor, along with confidence to back it up, in and out of the ring.
People are saying Toney is brain damaged because of the way he talks now. I could never understand a word that fucker was saying to begin with.
Anyway, I like the trash talkers who can't back it up. Gives me real fits.
I like the humble fighters who shut up the loud mouths. Ive never been a guy who liked to talk shit to people. But it feels good to shut up a "tough guy." I look at trash talkers as insecure boys.
Trash talking is only as entertaining as the person it's coming from. Malignaggi - great talker; Mayorga - funny as f*ck; Haye - very intelligent and quite funny. Mayweather blows hot and cold, he has some great lines here and there but I find his act a little contrived and he lacks the wit of the great talkers we've seen in boxing over the years. Khan, for instance, on the other hand just makes himself sound like a moron everytime he opens his mouth, or should I say everytime he logs onto his Twitter.
I could take it or leave it overall, but it does no harm.
Yes, I like shit talkers. I like people who speak their mind.
That's why Khan is growing on me. I like shit talkers but they have to back it up. That's why I want Khan to fight someone legit without a bullshit stoppage. He has to prove his worth before I like him.
