Floyd mayweather fanbase...whats the demographic?

That's not a good reason to misinform someone, though. Howcome some of the Hispanic groups, when mistaken for Mexican generally would correct that person who misidentified them ? Not the case with the Laos, it's like they prefer to be thought of as Filipino or Thai. Well I don't misinform people. I state that I'm Laos or Laotian (depends on how I feel). But I was just saying that most Laotian people don't want to explain where and what Laos is when you can just say Thai and most people would know what Thai or Thailand is.

How would you categorize his fan base by age group, race, economic background? I am a 'fan' and I am just your average European looking dude in the USA. I like Floyd a lot, even though he goes against the grain of what I usually appreciate in boxers.

I'm white, American, upper-middle class background. There are a lot of people out there who want to watch the best. Floyd Mayweather has done more to prove that he is the best than any other active fighter. Because of that, Mayweather has a large and diverse fanbase.

Hell Im from Puerto Rico and when Mayweather fights almost everyone gets motivated for the fight... I would say more than Cotto and Juanma, as for Trinidad I don't know. I mean Floyd is my fav current boxer and Cotto that is puertorrican is not even in my fav 10 right now, so yeah he is that big here too, bigger than Cotto by far here. You can't be because the other PR on here say Pac is more Popular than Floyd in PR and Cotto is definitely more popular than Pac in PR

i believe Mexican fans are fans of boxing period.......they love their own fighters the most, but even if they don't like a fighter they will still respect him if he is the real deal. Mosley has no fan base and got more cheers than Floyd at the weigh in... :D it was actually about the same (i have the full weigh in, in HD).........but what can you judge from a fw thousand fans at a weigh in????
