It compromises the quality of their tests. If they allow one person to do 14 days, then all athletes will want that same luxury. During stages at the Tour de France and during Olympic swim meets, they are testing the athletes. It would be irresponsible to basically regress and make a mockery of their own standards. WADA is pushing for even tougher standards. Yet and still we have people here thinking 3 piss tests are good enough when some people. There is no one on this forum that can explain to me why ice curlers at the winter Olympics have better testing standards than boxers. Taking on a drug test should have been the least of our worries as anybody clean should want to prove themselves at the highest level.
I don't think Pacquiao understood how the system worked then.. until he saw how it did on 24/7. He didn't know what he was getting himself into, which could've been some shady shit.. still could be since Mosley got tested up until the day before the fight and Floyd didn't. But now that Pacquiao knows his training isn't going to be interrupted and is sure of it he agrees with it.
I don't believe he didn't know for one second. Shady shit? It's OST, not Floyd's personal blood testing posse that were gonna come round and suck pints of blood out of his body and go high 5 Floyd and his team because their master plan was working.
big vern all alone.............trying to defend..........the undefendable.................big vern definitely greater than your average flomo..................where the fuk is Mr. larryx ........throughout the debate????
He boned out pretty quickly after this,

Thats a message board check hook.
So because he thinks it would be easy work he should condone the use of PEDS in boxing? Right................
EDIT: lol @ red k'ing me.
Point me to where Manny was ever linked to steroids and I'll agree he needs to test.
In fact, I'll even leave this site forever.
But seeing as you won't find anything, I'll just stay.
I'm not saying Floyd shouldn't accept 14 days, that's his call, I just want the fight to happen. My point is though, and you cannot deny, that when Pac turned the 14 days down his fans on here were like motherf*king trojans raiding all the topics. "The commission this", "the commission that". Now you read the topics and everyone is basically saying the commission don't mean shit.
I don't care what anyone else says. The commission is still the commission that has caught Roy Jones, Fernando Vargas, James Toney and many others.
They are still the commission that Floyd has fought an entire career under.
They are still the commission that the rest of the combat world goes to for guidelines.
and,
there still isn't a solid reason why Pac has to do any of this. Hes never been linked to any drug scandals, never failed any tests.
He just kicked some major ass in a highly destructive manner and it scared the shit out of the Mayweather camp.
"easy work, easy fight, probably easier than the Marquez fight".
"oh, well, we need a level playing field now"
"hes on something"
"you don't get better after 25"
So Floyd wasn't compromising when he originally offered 14 days?
It wasn't good enough then, why now? Pac has come out and said, "oh yeah, I'll accept the 14 day cut off" (even though he originally said he would lose vital sparring days), when Floyd has said on several occasions prior to this that the 14 day offer was off the table.
It's Pac that's being awkward.

Floyd on Pacquiao,
"easy work, easy fight, probably easier than the Marquez fight".
If its so easy,
why the need for extra tests?

Pac doesn't have to take any extra tests, period.
When Pac fans see hes apparently willing to go with the 14 day cutoff, they see it as him compromising and trying to get the fight done.
Thats much better than taking a hard line stance of, "test or not fight", especially when the person taking that hard line,
was the first one to offer the 14 days.

14 days was all good.

I want him to follow by the rules of the commission. I don't think boxing should change because of one man's hissy fit. You do understand that there is a thing called compromise, right? Even though I don't like it.. as a fan we are willing to compromise to get the fight done. I could give a **** about OST, unless it's mandated by the commission.. but if it's what gets the fight done then whatever.. let's do it but compromise so both parties are happy.
the only reasons I can think of to why you don't understand this is because you are narrow minded or have the IQ of a turtle..

See, this is what I don't understand. A lot of Pac fans have been sitting on this board saying shit like, "Pac don't got to do OST, he's just following the rules of the commission", then when it looks like he's accepted the 14 day cut off they're all like, "yeah, Pac is a warrior, man, he just wants to fight. he wants to put them hands on Floyd!" like the commission don't mean sh*t now Pac has agreed. What is it, they want him to follow the rules of the commission or they don't? Or is it just whatever Pac says they'll agree to and instantly support? I'm seriously confused.

NSAC should tell Floyd FU, you fight under our rules or don't fight at all. Don't be a chicken and fight the little man LOL...
Dumb ass they are going to implement OST testing , they are saying its a good thing that they will look very closely at it , cant happen over night but it will happen , fuking Pactards are some dumb mother fukers , I cant believe how dumb they are .
PAC SAID NO FIGHT , PAC DUCKED THE FIGHT , FLOYD SAID YES !!!
Boxing Commission should tell Floyd to **** off
They need to tell Floyd to get in the ring and fight the little man under their rules or fuc(< off. They are the landlord, Floyd is just renting there.
the biggest question is why would boxing and the boxing commission change their rules for one person?

flomos coming back...........after their huddle.................trying to preserve what is left of PBFS...................manhood
Damm the Flomos got owned LOL..

because usada doesn't have any authority over pro boxing so they're not compromising anything in their rules. they can be considered as a contractor...they get paid for their services. and besides they're only doing this ost for a particular fight unlike in the olympics where every sport and every athlete is covered so it's stupid to make a comparison.
For starters, new rules being proposed are better than the ones in placn. Even bigger is if amateur boxers can do it, why can't professionals?
I could easily say that the 14 day cut off is better then the original method proposed.
Mosley looked drained & Mayweather didn't look his normal self either. 14 days would give both fighter better time to recover and fight to their full potential. The last two week of training aren't intensive sessions anyway.
