I just finished watching Khan vs. Malignaggi...

Just wait until hes in a fight with an elite 140lber and when the pressure is applied, how he deals with it. Then we'll see what hes really made of. Fighting Paulie and taking his punches is not really a true test of his mentality and defence. Khans face didn't look too good after the fight.. How will he look after a Maidana or Alexander fight?

And I gotta say, this boy sure got some talent. It was a pleasure watching him dismatle Paulie, who's been talking trash about everyone in a looong time. I'm aboard the Khan waggon. He got some skills and he sure can become great. ... If his chin can make it. He has to work on a few things but the kid does have some talent. He has a fast Jab that can give fighters problems. Other fighters are gonna still question his chin.. but if he can withstand being hit by some hitters, then the kid has a very bright future.

From this post - I'm pretty sure Khan isn't your favourite fighter, tbh. ATM he is, he like me is pakistani descent, why wouldn't he be, he's my idol, but i don't like the way he has hand picked his opponents, dude if you have followed his career since he started boxing in 2004 you would agree with me, i don't agree with hand picking opponents. I believe he is too good to be fighting people who are nowhere near his skill level, he fought barrera when he was past his prime, fair enough Salita was mandatory but look what he done to him, Maidana was meant to be next but he used an excuse that Maidana was not a big enough name for him when judging by Maidanas reception in this forum to me he seems like a very well known guy, everybody knows he should be fighting the Maidanas, Alexanders and Bradleys because of all this hype he has been getting you can't just pick your opponents off and say you want to fight fighters who are past there prime and then want to be known as the greatest, common now you can;t be doing that. I think he is the best British fighter of his generation without doubt nobody else comes near, Mitchell, Billy Joe Saunders, Frankie Gavin ain't nowhere near this guys level and never will be. He needs to fight the big boys from now on, he got KO'D hard by Prescott and if you want a legacy i'm sure you'll agree that you don't fight bums in order to either avenge the loss or be on the road back to greatness right?

Pretty much how I feel. Khan's chin was the very worst out of any top-level fighter in boxing. Top-level sparring must help but how much, really? The Gomez knockdown encapsulates just how bad Khan's punch resistance was. It was a slowish hook thrown inside that didn't even catch Khan on the chin and BOOM! down he went. Against an old, shot, super-featherweight who Khan had already beaten the absolute snot out of for all the rounds prior. Khan is a real talent. A world-class talent. Most talented British fighter of a generation. But that chin...jesus. Haven't seen anything too worrying since he's been at 140lbs (though granted he's been in with two of the lightest punchers in boxing plus some guy who never even hit him.) I'm betting his chin'll be a bit sturdier now he's not cutting so much weight.

I don't know too much about the way he lunges in after backing his opponent up, or how he kind of bends at the waist after finishing his attacks, I could see him going to sleep by way of left uppercut, but I did enjoy him scrape malignaggi up. Malignaggi is skilled, but has absolutely no firepower... I want to see Amir Khan, and Ricky Hatton get busy, or Khan verse one of the Peterson's, or even Bradley...Sh*t I would like to see him against Kendall Holt...Not sold on Khan, but interested...

I think his fight against Malignaggi showed what all the british fans have been saying all along. That he has the talent to go along way, but there is always gonna be a question mark over his chin until he faces another big puncher i feel. Im glad he got off to a good start in America, hope it continues.

I'd say fighting style, reach and naturally bigger has advantage on Khan, not that Paulie is bad at all. Paulie is no good though.

I saw shades of floyd mayweather in this fight. The check uppercut and the shoulder parry were surprising. I never knew Khan had a high ring IQ. Now please protect that china will you? don't even compare him with mayweather . king khan ducks no man !! Im excited for khan He will always have a suspect chin but his skills are clearly world class so i think he can achieve big things his chin is rock solid. dont let one or two knockdowns make you think he has no chin. If Pac could fight like Khan or had Khan's physical advantages then I could understand Pactard logic that maybe he could beat Floyd, Pac's actual fighting style gives him no chance vs Floyd.
