who do you think has the best chin in the following divisions:
lightweight
junior welterweight
welterweight
middleweight
cruiserweight
heavyweight
and who do you think has "p4p" the best chin
(i hope no one says amir khan)
Do you think Agbeko was the puncher people made him out to be?
Good point but he also took some punches from Silence Mabuza also. Maybe his power is not what his record indicates either. But, both Mabuza and Agbeko are strong fighters. And, he took both of those guys best for 24 rounds.
Do you think Agbeko was the puncher people made him out to be?
Probably not, but he still has good pop and Mabuza's is respectable. When looking at those two fights, he took his fair share of punches in them and wasn't stunned or hurt in either.
Though Perez stunned Agbeko and stopped Mabuza.
Nah Poon's chin is better than Cabs easy.
Jones chin isn't even that great, I'd choose many others guys who've fought at least 30 times and never even had a suggestion of being dropped.
The fightERs I like are vulnerable and sometimes chinny but massively good chins, it's a whole nother story.
I was just trying to use Panamanian fighters and Edmund Gerber. Plus, The Poon isn't even at 126.
105 - Raul Garcia
108 - Carlos Tamara
112 - Pongsaklek Wonjongkam
115 - Jose Lopez

122 - Poonsawat Kratingdaenggym
126 - Rocky Juarez
130 - Rocky Martinez
135 - Humberto Soto
140 - Paulie Malignaggi
147 - Shane Mosley
154 - Antonio Margarito
160 - Kelly Pavlik
168 - Carl Froch
175 - Glen Johnson
200 - Krzysztof Wlodarczyk
200.1 + - Vitaly Klitschko
until i see otherwise Margo still has the best chin at 147........it took 9 rds of bombs from Mosley to put him down.......cotto didn't even dent him and he hit him cleanly with every shot in the book for 7 or 8 rds.....
until i see new evidence that Shane has taken his chin he is still number 1 at welter.
I love Dom but his list his pretty horrific huh?
Yes.
Edmund Gerber at Heavyweight, Caballero at Featherweight, Guillermo Jones at Cruiserweight, and Poonsawat for every other division, I don't care! :headbang:
Andreas Kotelnik has the best chin at 140 IMO, he has never been down in the pros or amatuers. He took the best punches from Maidana and Khan and didn't even flinch.
he blocked a lot.........his block toughness is great though.......

id say garcia is not that great in the chin dept tbh.........he can take one punch well enough, but pretty much backs off and resets so he doesnt get hit flush again...and shows discomfort.....dunno much about the division though....
115 lopez hasnt fought nobody to be at #1 in chin...id say nashiro is #1......
126 juarez aint fighting there anymore.......but all the other top guys have shown vulnerability.....
130 id say its easily klassen.......
135 funeka maybe...hes been down 3 times lately but that was against heavier guys...and soto just got rocked by a journeyman.....
147 mosley looked so shit im not comfortable picking him......maybe clottey or pacquiao......
154 margarito if mosley didnt shot him.......williams is the back up winner
160 id pick martinez and williams over pavlik tbh....pavlik seems very unwilling to take punches even when he needs a late KO....
168 its either abraham or andrade(perfect shots that ended him).....crotch is not tops
200 not sure dont really follow much.....
other than that, good list
Yeah I know because JMM has been KO'd so many times.
:pat:
The guy gets hurt in pretty much every fight and got hurt by Juan Diaz!!!!!!
Getting kd doesnt have anything to do with it!!
