I have noticed that there is less Floyd hatred on the boards and among boxing fans. Alot of people still dislike his character and "Money" persona, but I rarely hear detractors of his in ring abilities anymore. I think people really respect his dominating performance over Shane.

You know...I'm not so much fan of Floyd. I use to dislike his selection of opponents and in my opinion deserved the critisism. He may be crasp and obnoxious outside the ring. But the drug testing and the Mosley fight is a positve look for Floyd. I applauded his persuit to fight Mosley. (Forced or not) He put on a clinic and overcame a dangerous moment early in the fight. Fighting Mosley was a first step (as a boxing fan) to establish the so called "greatness" he wants to obtain. Cleaning up the sport is also a noble attempt (or great PR). So cudos for that too. I guess my main point is...you give props where it's due. Yup very true..There Isnt another fighter like him in this era..

I've always been a fan of Floyd's, I just don't rub his cock like a lot of people do here. You'd be crazy not to think the dude is not one of the best fighters we've seen. Yea, I wanted him to fight Cotto, Margarito, and many others. But that's just the nature of the biz sometimes. I would've love to have seen Pryor vs Leonard when both were in their primes, but it never happened. I still think Floyd will have his haters and skeptics, but that comes with the territory when you're at the top. I mean, Pacquiao is a prime example of getting fame and people trying to rain on it.
