Ortiz out boxed Cambell but he just seemed so scared the whole fight. Every time he got hit in the face and to the body he is survival mode. He just does not have the fire in him. Cambell covered up very well and I can see how hard it was for Ortiz to land shots. I just cant see him beating any of the other top 140 guys. He has not jab and hardly throws body shots. I think he can be great but he needs to drop his trainer. Just imagine Ortiz fighting an aggressive fighter with a good chin and a punch.
margarito:maidana = cotto:0rtiz
i do see a change, he was cautious and played it safe, but this is only his second fight after maidana. hopefully he'll get back to his old vicious self.
NO;
Cotto was gettin beat up, Ortiz was dominating. Ortiz is still in physical peak because he avoided a morales VS barrera kind of war.

Ortiz has been working on being a better boxer and not letting his aggression get the better of him (brawling when he doesn't have to). And at no point did he ever have to brawl with campbell to win the fight. He boxed beautifully!!! Seriously what is wrong with you guys?
Hey Garcia i'm in the gym four days a week. Ortiz uses way too much energy moving around. The kid is shook. Look how Khan fought calm very little wasted energy with confidence when he threw punches...he has the fire Ortiz does not.
i agree there was some wasted movement, but he finished the fight strong and didnt look gassed at all.
why would anyone box circles around paulie?

what? dude, its called progression. hes' a progressing as a boxer. so you think he lacked confidence, yet he won every single round?
what's gonna happen if/when he fights with confidence?
i guess there's a thin line b/t fighting intelligently and fighting scared.
I didnt see him lose one round. Thats true , to me he looks like he is not as confident anymore , not saying he is. But i cant say hye looks the same as before. Not the same type of undefeated type fighter confidence who was used to dominating guys if u know what I mean
I dont know why guys are saying he looked confident , Really?? "Vicious" Ortiz , did not look vicious at all. His looks gives u the impression he is trying to find himself.
He did not fight the same way as Ive seen him fight before , going to to toe is how I remember most of his fights , yes he kept his ground but he looked too cautious. And I dont want to diss Nate but A year or 2 ago I would have said Ortiz by KO in an impressive way , And i actually thought thats what was going to happen going into the fight. I know Nate is a tough nail.
But Ortiz looks scared to me. He got heart , he seems to have lost his confidence.

That's the way Ortiz needs to fight I can tell you have never even sparred in your'e life Nate was taking Ortiz shots well so their was no need to push for the KO if it comes it comes if it doesn't just keep doing what your doing.
i think he's overcompensating. he's trying to hard to be a "pure" boxer when its not even necessary. that meant only engaging only when HE wanted to.
ortiz is gonna have to find a balance b/t boxing and looking to land his power punches. if he does, watch out.
boxing from the outside like that is fairly new to him.
How fights does he need? He has already had three fights since that loss. Khan looked great, but I still think his chin is suspect. Paulie was never gona test his chin since he has no power what so ever.
There were times where he looked very confident, but I kinda got the sensation that he was afraid of Nate's right hand a couple of times. He would get hit and then backpeddle for the rest of the round. If that's a younger Campbell, I think he could have won.
