Psychologically, this is the hardest fight for Khan out there. He would know that he would be stepping in the ring with a guy who has the power to put his career to bed again. Khan would get great credit from me if he could beat Prescott. Just stepping back in the ring with him regardless of the result deserves praise.
I swear he gets KO again if he fights Prescott, I can see him outboxing him but he still hasnt sorted out his defence yet.
I think he beats Precott second time around, he has shaped up his defense and the main reason Khan got stopped was cause he lead with a left hook to the body and left himself open, he wouldn't do these things this time. Khan has shaped up his defense a little bit and I think Roach knows that Prescott is live for the first few rounds then fades, they would just make Khan be cautious for the first couple of rounds and stick to Boxing.
would be nice to have the fight at boltons reebok stadium, would draw a prity big crowd and would set khan up for a november/december fight with maidana
Nothing wrong with trying to avenge your losses, in fact it would get him a lot of respect and clear things up. You should respect that yourself, your a Lewis fan and one of the big things people respect him for is avenging every one of his losses.
He wants one more fight before Ramadan, so he'll be fighting in two months time, that aint much time to prepare for a big fight like other people have said.
I think he will fight him again one day anyway! I said before in another thread he will never be the same person untill he beat's Prescott and I think it will do well for him to beat him, if he can that is!
I don't think Khan will want to rematch Prescott, has he EVER mentioned a rematch? I think he's scared that he might get KO'd again and the fear would get the better of him.
meh i wouldnt care much really, because he would avenging his only loss..but its still very risky, yes khans improved alot..but one of those bombs by prescott will still put him away...if he can just stay outside, he would be able to jab his way to a ud..
would you give him credit? or would you say hes dodging the big players in the division?
I would call it dodging.Khan's not that big as to require 6 months to prepare for a fight.he wasnt hurt last night,he's 23 so he can fight in July.Him fighting Prescott would be wrong.
From a style point of view it would be interesting to see how Khan fights because he is really big for his weight. He uses his reach well but Prescott is tall as well.
