Although disappointed, Malignaggi gave Khan the ultimate endorsement.
"He's better than Ricky Hatton was," Malignaggi said.
I wonder if we will get to see Khan-Hatton
Would be a huge fight for the U.K
But it depends how far Khan can go. If he keeps winning and maybe moves up to 47 then I would like to see him fight Mayweather at Wembley. Khan definetly has good skills and can go far but I have doubts as to whether Khan could beat Bradley/Alexander/Maidana.
prime ricky sparks kahn in a few rounds
right now
the exact opposite lol
my thoughts exactly! hatton was a beast in his prime. but i think his punch resistance wont be far from khans right now and khan has the advantage of being in his prime. not to mention his skills are sick under the influence of roach!
Ricky Hatton stopped a prime Paulie Malinaggi.
Khan got the leftovers.
Ricky is the greatest 140 lber of the last decade. Hatton got Cotto leftovers!!! Then this happened......
Beautiful!!!!
The latest version of Khan is way too skilled for a supposed 'prime' Hatton before stepping up to mayweather and pacquiao. Speed and combinations would be too much, ricky can't handle speed

Nah Cotto would have beat that ass at any weight
Hatton beat him silly all over the place but so did Khan. The thing is if khan had more power we would of dispose Paulie a lot earlier. Roach is doing a good job with him.
This place can be so depressing at times. So many lack memory and only have tunnel vision.
I agree with you. prime ricky would def beat this version of khan. Khans main weakness is pressure after all. Of course we dunno how good khan will be at his peak but I suspect hell achieve more than hatton
The thing is, ricky could take a beating.....
Khans chin is too big a problem, its boxing, you have to take punches...its almost an essential
Skillwise ... yes khans better, speed also...
Ricky had power and could take a beating
Khan would eat Hatton up from the outside, he would not trade with Hatton. Khan used Paulie's defense against him.
Paulie backs up after he gets hit to get out of the way but Khan would follow up with a second punch, whether it was another jab or a straight. He hits Paulie, Paulie backs up and Amir hits him with a second punch to keep him off balance and forcing him to setup again before he could attack.
Think of a Prime Hatton's footwork. Nobody could stay on the outside against him. He trapped everyone!!

A prime 28 year old version of Khan smashes any version of Ricky. Their skill sets are like night and day.
Sorry man I cannot agree and I like Khan. Think back to Ricky circa 2005-2006. He was a monster. People just forget. He was relentless.
Sure he took his punches to get where he wanted, but at that time, he could take those punches no problem to get there. You add to that his footwork, which I consider some of the best offensive footwork of any fighter in any era and a guy like Khan is going to have issues.
