"TO BE THE MAN YOU HAVE TO BEAT THE MAN!"
that's what i thought boxing was about...
Reason: it looks like analysts are giving Mayweather OVERDUEs and giving hiM P4P ranking for taking on Mosley YEARS later and under no circumstances giving any realistics of the situations.
So now comes the question.
Would pacquaio have KO'd that version of Mosley?
as a pac fan, i think he would have taken mosley out. his work rate and his relentless attacks plus his stamina is unparalleled. that's why i think roach said his statements of pbf slowing down. if naziim saw tendencies and worked. I believe Roach has gotten the blue print for pac to go for the KILL. if it goes the distance i have no doubt PBF will counter punch his way to victory or rock pac with a over the top right hand while he throws a wild left straight.
if you are a pac fan or if your a mosley fan. i don't want you to answer.
i want the other fans to be the neutral answer. i hate biased fans (you don't take the question logically). please feel free to post your rebuttal or opinion to make me more knowledgeable, i have no problems with good and honest opinions. don't be offended if i don't think logic was behind it.
I read through multiple threads, articles why they believe PBF is number 1 and it was due to the MOSLEY fight. So that is why I put to the question of NSB fans? So if the fight was the other way around what would be the verdict.
nope no ko. there is a reason why Pac team didnt want the Mosley fight why becaues Pac will be there to be hit Pac doesnt have great head movement i dont care what anybody says
Naw dont think so. He couldnt stop Clottey so I dont see him stopping mosley
There is a chance but i dont think so
Cmon man. Do you even think Clottey and Mosley are anywhere remotely similar? They are so far apart. With Clottey you got a guy that never drops his guard and barely let Pacquiao lay a glove on his face in fear of getting KO'd. In Mosley you got a dude who has piss poor defense, was aged to hell, had awful timing, and gets hit a lot period. Pacquiao would of hit him so much more than Fraud and with harder shots. I could see Mosley being stopped with his corner ending it because he's too brave to go down on his own. Pac would of devastated that Mosley that showed up.
you mean the nervous agitated parkinsons-esque (what was he doing with his hands...don't say feinting) not throwing many punches old man mosley?
i was thinking the same thing
I've said this a million times. Mosley fights the PERFECT fight for Pac. He wants to stand and trade punches like he didn't against Cheaterito. If he does that with Pac, he won't get let off the hook like pussy Mayweather did. Pac will actually try and knock him out instead of throwing one punch at a time.
all of your opinions and rebuttals seem logical but the problem is after the second round into 3rd or 4th you can tell he was gassed out already. it was not because of PBF obviously cause PBF didn't really do anything special through those rounds. MOSLEY tired himself out looking for the BIG SHOT. they would be a lot more active. i don't think one bit that pac would have let mosley just stick around nor would roach let it continue and ask for pac to go for a kill.
about pbf taking a big shot:
also, like pbf himself said if you get it's what happens in boxing. you have to keep going. did pac not get hit with some TREMENDOUS SHOTS from his previous wars or even some nice shots from cotto? don't tell me cottos punches aren't vicious?
some boxing fans got used to a standard and think pbf shouldn't take big shots and if he does he should be out of there. if it was someone else it wouldn't be that big of a deal. he has a lot of heart because he bounced back? it's great he showed heart and went back to a game plan but it was easily sailing there on out.
I say no, I'd say it would go to decision as well but Pacquiao probably wouldn't have gotten buzzed because Pacquiao's defense is also underrated when he uses his footwork. Maybe a chance at getting a TKO, but no KO.
