the haters hate Malignaggi becaues of what he said about Pac and these haters just cant stand it when a man speaks what is on his mind with out holding back. one thing is for sure Malignaggi will keep it real whether you like it or not
Khan day is coming he will get ktfo
Paulie's the man.
He's all heart and was just outgunned by the superior fighter.
He couldn't be more class post fight though. Win or lose. He'll call it like it is, but he'll give credit where credit is due.
I find it very difficult to not respect Malignaggi. Khan comes off as much more unlikeable.
I'm not really big on Khan myself, but he isn't an arrogant punk. I like him for his skills more than anything else. Paulies got heart, and talent but thats about it.

Yeah, in a way I'm happy too. I'm not a Khan fan by any stretch of the imagination, but I can't really say I like Malinaggi either and Khan beat him the way he was supposed to pretty much. Now hopefully this means that HBO won't keep throwing good money after bad.
And I feel kind of bad kicking dirt on Paulie because if anything, the guy deserves credit for being willing to take a beating and keep on keeping on. But it's like if he poses no threat to these guys like Hatton and Khan, why is HBO willing to televise that?
I wish Khan had a better chin so that when he fought Alexander or Bradley we would get to witness the same type of beating. That's why even though I hate Bradley right now for ducking Alexander, it might be better for him to get the shot at Khan so the beating would be slow and suffering since Bradley isn't really a big puncher but he works guys over. Alexander would KO Khan like Tyson did to Spinks and Margarito did to Manuel Gomez. It would be quick and painless, and I almost would be disappointed in that.
I was planning to change straight back into my S.O.G. duds tomorrow, win or lose for Paulie.
But Imma keep these for a while in defiance. Fuck all'a you haters.
I thought you were taking shots at Muslims for a second there.
I think has alot of hate has to do with his comments about Pac. Aligning yourself with Team Mayweather is about as bad a public relations move as you can do. I think his comments were kinda crass, as I'm dubious that the motives were him simply expressing his opinion. The fact that he went to Ariza and Roach afterwards and looked like he was contrite says alot.
Tbh, I don't have much time for him as a fighter. I think his style sucks and I don't want to see him headline another HBO show again.
But last night was kinda sad. He was against a young, talented fighter that he just couldn't hang with. To me, it isn't fun to see people take beatings and get KOd. But then, I've always felt empathy and sadness for the gatekeepers, journeymen and patsies. Boxing is a cruel sport in alot of ways.
Khan did what he needed to do, and looked great in doing it. Thankfully Paulie didn't look too damaged and broken in the post-fight interview. He's had few more paydays since the Hatton one, so I hope he doesn't become a gatekeeper. I know someone has to...but I would think he's smart enough not to let that happen.
He just ran into his own Stylistic Nightmare last night. I personally don't think we have seen the last of him. If Pauli has a fault, it is in that he is too damn tough and can take a huge beating.
What will happen though is some out there will think he is vulnerable now. You will see someone like Urango or Maidana think he is easy pickins. Get a fight and then Pauli is right back in the picture with a win. Then his self promotion begins again. I give the kid all the credit in the world. Landing multiple fights on HBO even though they would normally avoid someone with his style like the plague.
Why would anyone wish a fighter to get damaged for life? What a fukkin scumbag attitude, hiding behind your computer wishing someone who risks his life for your entertainment to get seriously injured..These so called "fans" are a disgrace to boxing.
Well said. I wanted to see Paulie take a beating, but his corner should have pulled him out earlier. Also smolger did a good job as ref.
So he talks a bunch of trash and looks a certain way, nobody has to 'like' him per se - but I don't know what more he's got to do, what more odds he's got to take on, to earn all boxing fans' respect.
I know you're a boxing fan and not one of the straight creeps, so that's why it puzzles me.
The guy's true class comes out after a fight, win or lose.
He's got a pure heart.
I knew for a fact, said it to a friend, that, whoever won, Paul and Amir would look like friends at the end of this fight.
I see people wishing permanent damage on this great kid, and, I won't lie, I find it pretty depressing.

That's a huge heart you got there, man.
Can't wait to see you in the ring sometime.
What's your name again, so I can look out for you?
A. Sorryass Faggot?
Quit acting like such a cunty bitch.

Paulie's a warrior. Takes a beating like a man. He would have carried on no doubt given the choice, and no, Khan would not have KO'd him.
Khan may not have KO'd him but the beating he was taking could have led to permanent damage so good job on Smoger for stopping it when he did. I don't like Paulie, but don't wanna see the guy hurt.
TBH Paulie deserved it, so yeah, enjoyed it immensely, thanks Smoger.
Smoger is known for giving fighters the benefit of the doubt, he will let the fight go for as long as he thinks a fighter has a chance. This is the only time i remember seeing him end a fight for a fighter taking too much punishment and not be practically out on his feet. Smoger is a great ref, and Malinaggi's trainer is an irresponsible shit head.
Let the clouds settle. I just never liked malignaggi.
Ha! either do I.
Before the fight i told my buddy, "I hope Khan punishes Malinaggi."
Going into the 10th round i felt pretty horrible i said it!
Paulie is a great guy, he shows heart in all his fights and never ducked anyone. repsect to paulie and congrats to amir
Well said. Paulie takes a beating good, but they should have stopped it in the 10th because that Khan jab keep snapping that head back.
