Just asking, if the guy is so f'ing awesome, how come he couldn't knock out Mosley? He was hitting him at will, why not go for a knockout?
Exactly. You fill in the blanks.
If he gets a counterpunch knockout ala Hatton he'll take it, otherwise, he can't be bothered.

- he has a 60.98% KO ratio
- Manny has a 67.86% KO ratio
- Compare that to SSm with a KO ratio of 73.58%
So his KO ratio isn't exactly low.......Pac has a low ratio for a guy who is KOing bigger weltewr weights stone cold........
Sh*t, I always thought Ali was a greater fighter than Shavers, but wait... Shavers had a better KO % (76%-60%)...so according to Pactards, that makes him a better fighter, right?
Meaning there's a 6% difference in their KO ratios. A minute difference, especially considering Floyd faced much tougher competition earlier on in his career as opposed to Manny who was stuck fighting D-C level fighters in Asia. Nothing more, nothing less.
Those who believe KO power is the only gauge of a fighters offensive prowess.
So you are telling everyone that Floyd could KO all of his remaining opponents and surpass Pac's KO percentage? Good dumb analysis...
If both continues to fight and each of them reached 100 fights, the result would still be the same... Floyd would still behind... What makes you think Floyd would KO his remaining opponents?
idiot
Can't believe you're green and i'm red. 2012 = end of the world. Ignorants get praised these days.
yeah right....talking about ignorants...floyd is no. 1 p4p these days. bwahahahaha!
yes. he didn't knock-out a semi-retired granddaddy and they call it the best offense. bwahahahahahaha!

the number 1 lesson when you are arguing with flomos here at NSB is never argue with numbers, much more about percentages, it will be POINTLESS, to give you and idea flomos' decade is eleven years!!!
Means what?
By the time both of them reaches 100 fights, the percentage would still be the same and Floyd will still behind by 6 percent assuming both fighter performs the same .. Are you implying the Floyd will KO all of his opponents before reaching Pacquiao's number? Percentage has nothing to do with number of fights...
Who's the ignorant now?

Floyd has a 61% KO ratio in 41 fights.
Manny Pacquiao has a 67% KO ratio in 56 fights
Kill the ignorance.

I'm not a big fan of Mayweather but you can't deny his skills. I can understand why people are doubting his power and it's because they don't understand his skills. He has a game plan for every fight he goes into. If the fight is close and it calls for him to be more aggressive, then he starts throwing more. However, he basically controls the fight and his opponent. Why would you need to knock somebody out or put yourself in a situation where you could be knocked out? He picks his opponents apart round by round and makes them look stupid. Some people, including me, would call that boring because I love to see boxers throw down. But I never questioned his power because if the situation calls for it, he'll show it.
floyd doesnt have a knockout power, he can only knockout opponents who are tired from chasing him or gassed out, but he failed to do that againts a gassed out mosley...
but i knew he wouldnt be able to knockout mosley coz he couldnt even knockout marquez how the heck can he knockout mosley that non of any power puncher boxers mosley fought ever did :/
i was laughing really hard watchin the interview on floyd when he said he'll go for knockout o mosley fight mosley...
i wonder why his power doesnt go along with his big muscles n rip body
had some doubts about it

Lol, if you honestly think Mayweather offense is even close to Manny's then you serious have mental issues. Go get checked, maybe a psychiatrist might help too. :bottle:
Mayweather > Pacquiao.
Mayweather > (that means greater than) Pacquiao.
Anyone who doesn't agree belongs in the special Olympics along side you.

Mayweather does not have anywhere near as good an offense as Pac. Period.
Those who think otherwise have his Mayweathers d!ck so far up their ass, it's hard for them to think straight.

Mayweather is the best defensive fighter. He is a great counterpuncher and in later rounds his offense gets better, but I think Pacquiao is the better offensive force.
Anyone can speculate why a fighter doesn't want to KO another fighter.
I've always thought that Mayweather was afraid to hit another fighter too hard or else he would fracture or injure something on his hands again. But that's just my opinion.
